i firmly believe they are one of the best fucking couples in children’s media. he’s an anxious mess of a vampire afraid of blood, doesn’t know where he wants to be in the world and feels like he’s a failure to his own ancestry, she has a warm personality and a kind heart, totally clueless and just thinks he’s a cool looking boy, has a vampire hunter grandfather who has his suspicions, but she’s there to support him every step of the way. every time he has a problem he visits her and she helps him out. they hang out at every given moment they can, and they always complement each other as much as they can. he’s stated numerous times that he’ll do anything for her, she’s the light of his life, his sunshine. they’re so extremely, irreversibly, mind numbingly deep in love. I could write a whole essay on these two.

also she’s like 3 inches taller than him and i find that so cute
