hi everyone please remember that efficiency is worth SHIT without effectiveness

these two concepts must always go hand in hand but these days dipshits love to sling around efficiency as a buzzword while ignoring her sister effectiveness

efficiency = how well something is done based on metrics like resources cost to do something vs how long it takes or vs the cost from prior year

effectiveness = if you can actually produce the desired outcome as planned

i.e. if you're so so so efficient but not effective, you're essentially very very good at doing nothing
