Hi. Today, I’ll be having my first solo exhibit over at Vinyl on Vinyl and I’d appreciate it a lot if you would come and hang out during the opening. I’m not sure why I’d want a huge number of people to attend other than validation, but I guess I’d want to see how people react to me trying out some new things namely: having an exhibit and some new things with my art I haven’t tried out before. I worked hard on these and I swear they’re good so drop on by tonight at the opening if you happen to be free and if you can’t, well, the exhibit space is usually open every other day.

Above is the ‘main piece’ of the show, called ‘Head Space’. It’s an attempt at strict character models for my head-explodey thingies, and it looks cool, and it looks way awesome at 24x36 inches.

I’ll be selling prints and shirts and what not. It’ll be rad and awesome. Asides from that, there’s another opening happening for MULTIPLAY, a video game tribute exhibit, where some friends have some work and I’ve seen it as I was setting up yesterday, and they’re all quite awesome and fangasmic. There’s also the Doc Marten’s Bar Tour over at B-side happening where a bunch of rad bands would be playing.

Liberal Arts (2012)

Josh Radnor’s (How I Met Your Mother) second written and directed film. The first 20 minutes were very reminiscent to Happythankyoumoreplease and I was about to write it off as that. Thankfully it doesn’t stay like that long. The story matures well as the film progresses. I think everyone who recently graduated should give this film at least 2 play throughs. It’s a very poetically written ‘its over, get over it’ movie.

Best part would probably be the exchange of letters between the two main characters. I only wish people would talk with that much enthusiasm and wit a little more in real life.

My sister and I have this thing where she tries to guess my laptop's password to get to my stash of movies and TV series. I used to trust her with my passwords before but she always overcharged my laptop so to keep her from using it I always chose genus and species names from my classes in Biology for my passwords and leave hints for a headstart. Today I change my password for the third time. Thumbs up for always getting it right, little sister! You're on to the next level.

This is the thousand petal lotus, it is the symbol of your crown chakra and the totality of your aura. Focus on the very center of the the image and try to adjust your eyes until you see colour. You should get a colour in the center with other colours around the rest of the picture. It basically lets you know what your aura looks like at the moment. Not everyone will be able to see the colours, although I would guess most of you will. It is good practice as when you learn to focus your eyes correctly you can see aura’s/energy. This is a good way to check up on your progress as the colours you see will change with the current phase of your life.
