the legends game is out and there’s a possibility of a spe arc adaptation, so it seems like the right time to post a picture of one of my few fan OCs!
this is Rhodia Berlitz, Platinum’s grandmother and the matriarch of the House of Berlitz. she’s a pretty stern and serious lady who always tries to adhere to the Berlitz family motto, per scientia ad astra (through knowledge, to the stars). she’s quite influential and has known people like Bertha, Professor Rowan, and Cynthia’s grandmother for years and years.
she has two pokemon for personal use, a roserade and a honchkrow :)

Hi gifter!! Thanks so much for reaching out, I hope your holidays (whatever you celebrate) have been good!! My family does sometimes celebrates Christmas, but very secularly. We did celebrate Diwali earlier this year, but for winter holidays, Christmas is fine!
My top two favorite pairings for SG...hmm, they kind of rotate! Right now, Beautilocks is probably my top pairing. And second place would be a tie between Daphnoccio and my angsty garbage nonsense ship, Moth/Mustardseed. But Moth/Mustardseed isn't very jolly LOL.

Hello everyone, it’s finally here!

Welcome to the 2021 holiday gift exchange! Like in years past, the idea of this gift exchange is to meet new people in the fandom and surprise someone with a gift for the holidays! When you enter this exchange you will be anonymously paired with another person, and someone will be paired with you.
The idea is to message them on anon to get to know what they like and then create art, fic, edits, whatever you can think of that would be a good holiday gift and then post it on the assigned day, tagging your person! The person assigned to you will do the same, so everyone makes a gift, and receives a gift!
Please fill out this optional form to hopefully make your pairing more compatible (This is COMPLETELY OPTIONAL, you do NOT need to fill it out to enter the exchange!
Also! There is a new question this year- for those of you that participated last year, there is an option to have your answers from last year used again for this year, no need to refill out the entire form, though you are able to if you want!)
A full explanation of the event:

first thing i drew was a small gumi :)
He’d always loved flying, but came to love it infinitely more when his family came to the New World.
On the ground, Mustardseed was forever crowded by requests and responsibilities, by his father’s stern eye and his mother’s fretful heart. On the ground, his brother’s absence was suffocating, the burdens of being a not-quite crown prince even more so. On the ground, he was always, always aware of his place.
But in the sky, oh! There was just the wind, the clouds, the cold air. He only ever flew at night—less chance of humans seeing him that way—but it was a blessing in disguise, to drift above the smog of the city and have the stars all to himself. The pixies would follow him up sometimes, little stars themselves, and alight on his nose or shoulders or fingertips.
Was it lonely? Yes, but it was a nice kind of loneliness—almost an aftertaste of loneliness, like the lingering flavor of a bittersweet chocolate that had melted in your mouth. Mustardseed savored the feeling; it wasn’t one he was allowed to experience often. He could breathe more deeply up here, let his lungs really expand, and let himself pretend, if only for a moment, that he was the only person in the world.
hi @citrus-carnations! I was your secret snowflake for the @sistersgrimmholidayexchange this year. I loved reading your headcanons about mustardseed’s character; I feel like they gave me a whole new insight into his personality and relationships with his family. I hope you like this drawing/writing snippet, and hope you had a great holiday season!
