Saranya, one of the great cosmic spirits.

Drawing inspired by @montereybayaquarium’s Deep Sea December! For it, I’ve decided to use the prompts to do art pieces for my own original world, the Greater Cosmic Ocean. The prompts that inspired this piece are “Snow,” like Saranya being like a massive cosmic whalefall that sustains other spirits throughout the cosmos, and “Star.” Saranya herself is also inspired by the nudibranch species Dirona albolineata, or alabaster nudibranch, and, ofc, Raava from Legend of Korra. This piece is also visually inspired by the Laniakea supercluster.
