5 years ago you wouldn’t catch me in a bikini at all. My self confidence was so low and I thought my body was horrible. I’d wear an all in one swimsuit and wrap a towel around me on the beach just to avoid being seen- how crazy is that?
It took years but I finally realised that I am beautiful and so is my body. It’s okay if not for everybody likes it because that’s life but choosing to love myself was the best decision I’ve made in a long time.

I’m tall and that’s okay.
So I’m 6'2" and my 18th birthday just recently passed. I wanted to embrace my height, as I have been this tall for over 5 years now. Ever since I hit 5'7" in the 4th grade, people called me a giraffe. Not in an offensive way, in a term of endearment way. All my friends at school kept calling me that. I was never okay with it because giraffes were ugly! They were so tall and awkward with the huge necks and small heads. I just didn’t think they were beautiful. Years passed, and my perspective has changed. I am now completely in love with them and their peaceful grace and fluid movements. If I had just an ounce of their beauty I would be happy forever. I have a giraffe collection and decided to put my love to the ultimate test: a tattoo. I am so glad I got it done!! Everyone who has seen it says it matches me perfectly :) this is for all the tall girls out there who are struggling to come to terms with their height. Embrace it!! You are gorgeous, so stand tall ❤️
