Welcome to “Vesperamus”!

This is a project set in a fantasy world where humans and different intelligent species interact with each other. Set in dire times, an evil empire has risen and has disrupted peace on the land.

There are two sides to their tale: Firmament (Farys' story) and Viridescent (Percy's story).

A bonus story called "Pearlescent" (Isla's story) is still WIP!

🌙 Esmonde Crescent 🌙

Esmonde is an experienced soldier who is known to be rather laidback for someone working in the Empire, but is shown to be highly capable of fighting with both magic and weapons. Being a vampire, he is also known to be always sleepy during daytime, even if he does not melt in the sunlight nor get any damage from it. It is known to be one of his biggest weaknesses that he has yet to overcome, and so he is almost always designated to do his duties at night. He slept on a day shift once and that was how he got his neck scar in the first place... it was still an embarrassing memory for him to this day. As capable as he is, he does not seem to want to work on getting promoted. He seems to prefer to just sleep it all off when he gets the chance, or take some time off in the courtyard alone or with some friends.

WIP! I wanted to draw him again, and what better way than to use Firion as my reference for this (Firion was the main inspiration for Farys after all, among some others)

I also wanted him to look a bit softer with more vibes of the skies; his last name is "Langit" after all

Isla! 🦑

She is the captain of an all-girls pirate crew (with the exemption of Hale, her right-hand man)! A kraken with a humanoid form, she sails the seas in search of treasure and a desire to bring some good fortune in dire times.

Some things about her:

🦑 She may look scary, but she is actually very kind. And quiet, quite awkward. Some of her crew were people she rescued and decided to join her.

🦑 Her eyes are perfectly functional; she uses her eyepatch mostly for instant night vision in case she needs to go inside the ship.

🦑 She may be quiet and reserved, but she is a great singer!

🦑 The scar on her face was when she took a punch to the face to protect someone who would later become a part of her crew.

🦑 She was sick of people seeking out krakens like her so she stopped hiding and started faring the seas.

... And this is how I imagine her to sound like when singing 🤭💖

Typical scenarios that led up to this:

"You're so good at using guns! That's amazing!" Farys: Oh, I'm not really that good with them… but thank you. "You're so pretty, Farys!" Farys: Um… thank you! But I'm not really…

And that's when Grei butts in to aggressively tell him he's worth it.

A tale of three friends who were forced to be imperial soldiers; despite being obedient to their Emperor however, they had always felt it was wrong. The Empire's royal adviser is quite hard to read. He is known to be strict but he has a good heart, but it is a mystery why he decided to work with the evil Emperor.

A tale of brave souls standing up against the Empire to restore peace in the land. Many are also standing up against it, but this story focuses on this group in particular as they meet many other people in their journey.
