thank  you  for  stumbling  onto  this  blog !    this  is  a  roleplay  blog  for  THOMAS  WAYNE  from  the  flashpoint  universe .    i’m  VOD / SCOTCH ,  and  this  blog  is  MUTUALS  ONLY  and  selective .    i  don’t  have  a  carrd  up  yet  and  i’m  not  sure  how  long  it  might  take  for  me  to  put  it  up ,  but  if  you  need  to  know  anything ,  just  come  and  ask .    on  my  part ,  i  am  25  years  old  and  the  blog  itself  will  be  18+  only ,  no  exceptions .

for  thomas ,  know  that  the  flashpoint  universe  has  been  DESTROYED .    somehow ,  thomas  managed  to  travel  from  that  before  its  destruction / overwritten  history  into  the  main  reality .    that  is  about  as  far  as  you  will  get  from  comic  canon  from  me .    i  DO  NOT  accept  that  thomas  became  a  villain  for  the  sole  purpose  of  breaking  bruce  so  that  he  will  give  up  the  cowl .    i  DO  NOT  accept  that  he  would  be  able  to  hurt  his  son  or  his  family  as  was  portrayed  in  the  comics .    i  also  DO  NOT  ACCEPT  the  flashpoint  paradox  movie  at  all ,  nor  the  characterization  in  which  thomas  wields  GUNS .    it  is  unrealistic  to  me  and  will  be  kept  as  far  away  from  this  blog  as  possible .

how  i  portray  his  life  in  this  reality  is  living  in  the  manor  with  bruce ,  trying  to  find  some  way  of  a  life  now  that  EVERYTHING  he  used  to  do  or  take  care  of  is  out  of  his  hands .    thomas  is  there  to  SUPPORT  bruce  so  that  his  son  might  not  have  to  take  the  cowl  up  so  often ,  and  he  wishes  to  be  a  supportive  figure  to  the  rest  of  the  family  bruce  has  made  for  himself .    he  also  wants  to  be  a  good  GRANDFATHER  to  the  children ,  though  he  knows  that  he  really  isn’t  related  to  anything  in  this  reality  and  doesn’t  truly  belong  there .    but  here  he  is ,  and  he  will  do  his  BEST  for  those  he  cares  for  and  is  coming  to  care  about .

i  need  to  state  this  right  now  because  i’m  thinking  about  it .

thomas  is  NOT  stable .    he  hasn’t  been  stable  in  a  long  time ,  but  coming  to  the  main  reality  has  just  pushed  further  up  onto  the  edge  of  the  cliff  he’s  been  standing  on  since  bruce  died .    he  can  hold  himself  together  on  the  best  of  days ,  can  even  be  marginally  happy  depending  on  who  he’s  with  and  what’s  happening .    but  one  thing ,  no  matter  the  size ,  could  push  him  right  over  the  edge .    it  could  send  him  plummeting ,  spiraling ,  falling ,  and  that  is  just .    it’s  not  alright .

especially  because  he  doesn’t  know  what  he’d  do  if  that  happened .    he  doesn’t  know  how  he’d  react ,  how  his  mind  would  take  it  or  if  it  will  collapse  in  on  itself .    maybe  he’d  lose  touch  and  just  start  killing  people .    maybe  he’d  have  a  breakdown  he’d  never  come  back  from .    there  are  so  many  possibilities  and  none  of  them  are  good .    and  he  feels  like  none  of  them  are  something  he’d  recover  from .

he  doesn’t  want  to  be  treated  gently ,  and  he  wants  to  be  able  to  deal  with  everything  this  reality  is  going  to  throw  him .    but .    it’s  not  easy .    and  it  hurts .

what are thomas’ thoughts about bruce being batman?

he  hates  it .    he  HATES  that  bruce  went  through  so  much  trauma  and  pain  and  was  thrown  into  this  position ,  risking  his  life  for  a  city  that  he  feels  just  continues  to  flush  itself  down  the  toilet .    he  hates  that  bruce  didn’t  have  his  parents  growing  up ,  that  he  didn’t  get  to  have  that  childlike  wonder  as  a  kid  or  even  just . . .    be  a  kid  when  he  should  have .    he  hates  that  bruce  is  batman  because  that  is  not  something  you  would  want  from  someone  you  care  about  so  much .    it’s  dangerous  and  can  break  you  so  many  times  and  bruce  deserves  better  than  that .

but  he  understands  it .    hell ,  he’s  batman  too  and  went  through  more  than  his  own  fair  share  of  trauma  that  led  him  to  where  he  was .    bruce  became  batman  out  of  the  necessity  in  his  life ,  and  he  has  been  it  too  long  to  really  stop .    there  is  no  part  of  him  that  will  force  bruce  to  stop ,  even  if  he  wants  his  son  to  be  happier .    so  he  helps  him ,  supports  him ,  gives  him  a  shoulder  to  lean  on  because  maybe  that  will  make  a  difference  for  the  better  in  his  life .

what does thomas do now? how does he cope with the differences between his world and the one he’s in now?

he  keeps  himself  busy  and  helps  with  whatever  is  available  in  any  way  he  can .    being  in  a  reality  different  from  his  own ,  not  having  the  companies / casinos  he  did ,  there  isn’t  much ,  if  any ,  work  for  him  to  do .    and  it’s  not  like  he  can  just  not  be  declared  dead  anymore  because  the  thomas  of  that  reality  IS  dead .    so  really ,  he’s  devoted  himself  half  of  the  time  to  being  batman  and  the  other  half  to  just .    being  there  for  bruce .    which  can  be  difficult  because  of  the  differences  in  the  realities  and  how  bruce  grew  up  without  thomas  in  his  life ,  but  they’re  so  similar  that  they  do  end  up  bonding  and  getting  along .    it’s  just  not  always  under  the  best  circumstances .

and  he  copes . . .    well ,  he’s  accepted  everything .    the  differences  can  be  jarring  and  sometimes  he  gets  angry  or  overwhelmed ,  but  he  keeps  a  fairly  open  mind  and  does  what  he  can  to  deal  with  things  as  they  come .    hell ,  he  expected  to  die  twice  before  getting  there ,  not  to  mention  all  of  the  near  death  experiences  beforehand ,  so  his  coping  is  just  waiting  to  see  which  day  will  be  his  last  and  not  worry  about  the  things  that  don’t  matter  so  much .

tell us about thomas’ first few hours in the not-flashpoint universe??

STARTLING .    at  least ,  that  was  the  closest  word  he  can  think  of  to describe  it .    everything  was  the  same  and  yet  not .    some  parts  were  better ,  some  worse ,  and though  he  knew  the  streets  and  could  find  exact  spots  where  certain  events  happened  that  he  knew  of ,  they  had  changed .    it  didn’t  help  that  he  was  thrown  into  the  main  universe  when  he  thought  his  own  was  coming  to  an  end .    barry  fixing  things  and  erasing  the  timeline ,  and  yet  it  kept  going .    and  then  it  was  supposed  to  happen  again ,  but  he  can’t  tell  if  it  did  or  not .

HELL ,  he  thought  for  a  while  that  he  was  dead .    but  he  didn’t  think  he  was  capable  of  coming  up  with  something  like  the  gotham  he  was  standing  in .    people  being  surprised  by  his  use  of  red  instead  of  yellow ,  villains  that  knew  bruce’s  batman  staying  something  was  different  about  him ,  begging  because  the  batman  they  knew  wasn’t  so  violent .

a  couple  hours  of  going  around  and  figuring  things  out  leading  to  that  third  hour  being  spent  traveling  to  the  manor ,  wanting  to  know  everything . . .    to  see  bruce .

he  knows  how  to  roll  with  the  punches ,  knows  how  to  deal  with  things  in  stride .    but  this  was  a  big  stride .

if  there’s  anything  you  guys  wanna  ask  about  thomas ,  please  do .    i  want  to  talk  about  him ,  but  i  don’t  know  where  to  start .

because  i  said  i  was  on  the  honry  binge  before ,  i  will  offer  this  even  though  it  has  waned  considerably .

thomas  is  versatile / a  switch ,  but  people  find  him  too  intimidating  to  be  a  bottom  so  he  always  ends  up  topping  no  matter  what .    not  to  mention  he  comes  off  as  that  sort  of  material  so  he’s  just  slotted  into  a  top  position  by  default .

not  only  that ,  he  is  a  man  who  will  absolutely  be  pegged ,  and  martha  has  definitely  done  it  on  a  few  occasions  at  least .

thomas  is  enormous .    i’m  not  sure  if  i’ve  fully  explained  what  i  mean  by  this ,  other  than  saying  the  gilf  is  built  like  a  brick  shithouse ,  but  he’s  way  bigger  than  people  expect  him  to  be .

standing  at  6′5″  ( 195  cm ) ,  he  weighs  over  200  lbs  and  whatever  part  of  him  that  isn’t  just  what  makes  up  a  person ,  it’s  muscle .    not  just  because  he  has  to  stay  fit  for  what  he  does ,  but  because  if  he’s  not  working  on  whatever  he’s  doing  as  batm.an ,  he’s  doing  whatever  else  he  can  to  distract  his  mind  ( and  only  a  small  portion  of  that  was  running  his  businesses / casinos / whatever ) .    

usually ,  it  consists  of  working  out  until  he  can’t ,  the  physical  exertion  a  better  alternative  to  just  going  out  and  getting  violent  with  all  of  that  anger  brewing  up  inside  of  him .    a  lot  of  that  anger  is  at  gotham ,  for  being  such  a  cesspool ,  but  a  lot  is  also  at  himself  for  everything  wrong  that  has  happened  that  he  felt  he  could  have  done  a  better  job  with .    bruce  dying ,  what  happened  with  martha ,  selina  being  paralyzed . . .    so  many  other  things  and  so  much  anger  towards  himself  because  he  should  have  been  the  protector .

so  his  anger  turns  into  physical  energy ,  he  burns  through  it  until  he’s  numb  or  manages  to  fall  asleep ,  and  the  cycle  repeats  almost  immediately  upon  waking .    which  has  given  him  the  physique  he  has ,  more  of  a  bodybuilder  than  with  glamour  muscles .    he’s  a  fucking  enormous  tank  and  that  size  adds  to  his  intimidation  .
