What a gorgeous and fascinating creature the kumiho was to her eyes, dazzling under the moonlight’s light as if her Matron was blessing her with her company. The Avatar was a strong believer into the concept that every single presence crossing her path, was sent by the fate’s odd for a reason or another in the exact needed moment. Time meant nothing spent alone after all, not matter how beautifully the concert of the night would be able to embrace her in the most intimate and delicate ways, loneliness was still there, veiling her like a shadow, keeping her trapped on her own thoughts, memories and theories, in her own pain burning her skin.

Diana could be naive, inexperienced about the wonders of the world beyond from what was written in all the books she kept, unable to trust someone enough to allow them to be so close -or allow herself to approach-, but Ahri was like silk caressing a wound, soothing to her ears while talking, indeed using the correct words to spot her curiosity and to reduce her surly behavior. What a wonderful gift was to hear her almost hypnotizing voice.

“I would be glad to receive you every single time you decide to come, Charming Vulpine.” There was still that hint of respect while not saying her name directly. For Diana, names carried a special powerful meaning, a glimpse of closeness shared, a matter of trust that would be only shared after a long time, but not because of that she won’t refrain a smile. “You will be more than Welcome here or inside the Lunari Temple, my Matron is pleased by you being here, I would never dare to ask you to leave in that case… still, I can’t deny I’m marveled by you coming so far away from Ionia, to see someone who isn’t related to Mount Targon being here is a little uncanny. Is there something you may need or I would be able to help you with?”

Finally a polite and even courteous bow was offered, while careful fingers combed her silky platinum hair to one side, starting a parsimonious pace. “This way, hope you don’t mind me stopping in a clear to leave an oblation.”

R a p t u r e .  How fascinating, enchanting and intriguing Diana was; the she-fox often heard stories and legends about her persona, her past, her powers and everything else that was interesting and compelling enough to end up on the tongues of the most curious villagers, yet all their words would have never managed to describe the beauty of the woman who was now standing in front of her. For a mere second, Ahri even felt jealousy towards her: Diana’s appearance was superb and unforgettable, her story held so much sadness and pain within it and her powers had been granted by the Moon itself - She could almost be described with a single adjective: p e r f e c t . Even a marvelous, exquisite and charming creature such as the Gumiho was aware of the fact that Diana could have easily used her beauty as a weapon, just like she did - And this worried and scared her, greatly. These thoughts were soon forgotten and forsaken once the Lunar Maiden’s voice reached the large, hound-like ears covered in velvety fur on the top of the vulpine-she’s skull; how foolish she had been for experiencing such a meaningless and absurd feeling towards Diana. They were not enemies - On the contrary, they might have possessed more things in common than they thought.

Voluptuous, roseate lips were curled once more upwards, allowing a new captivating, tantalizing and bewitching smile to become part of the ethereal, intangible mask that everlastingly concealed the woman’s real emotions and thoughts; bowing her head and allowing her feelings to take over her savage instinct and mind would have made her v u l n e r a b l e .      “I truly feel honored; since my days under the features of a simple, stray fox, I’ve always admired and loved your Matron. I often spent my nights talking to Her, confiding my deepest secrets, searching for a safe spot under Her ethereal light and asking for help whenever I felt in danger. I don’t know if you believe that an invisible string guides us all, yet... I can’t help but think that our encounter was decided by Fate, my beautiful Lunari.” As her melodious, almost hypnotizing words echoed around them, the vulpine-she unconsciously lifted her head towards the cerulean; brilliant, auriferous optics directly stared at the Moon, looking at her in the same way a normal human would address a close friend or a member of their family. For a mere second, the invisible mask upon her visage almost collapsed. A relaxed, sincerely delighted and ecstatic expression had conquered her statuesque, facial features only to be promptly replaced by her mischievous facade once more. It was the first time Ahri actually mentioned her previous life to someone, and in all honesty, she could not explain what had brought her to do such a thing; maybe, the lunar light as well as the ethereal atmosphere of the night had taken over her common sense.

Finally, her savage but captivating, charming optics were focused on Diana once more; more words were slowly rolled on her tongue, provided with the most luscious and luxurious tone.      “Actually, I don’t have a real reason to be here; I was simply seeking for knowledge and experience, and Fate led me here. I suppose I was lucky considering how beautiful this place as well as your presence are; but, please, feel free to continue your walk and respect your habits and traditions - I will feel honored if you’ll allow me to accompany you for tonight. May your Matron guide us and allow us to make this encounter...        U n f o r g e t t a b l e .”

Indifferent and unemotional the man raised his gaze from the black tome that he was reading, a familiar voice, oh and ever so flirty and playful. He almost shaked his head at the attempt, but chose not to comment on anything, instead he locked gazes with the golden eyed fox woman who apparently was addressing him…

“Dissapointing. Rumor has it that you were trying to redeem yourself, albeit it is not the case as i see.” Closing the large book he tilted his head slightly to the right.

“What do you want, Vixen?” He asked.

“Do they?” He rhitorically asked before continuing once more “It is obvious that they do not.” He said, steel, azure gaze blinking in a calm manner. He got up from his seat, not out of fear, not out of any emotion, but simply to turn and place the large black tome back to its rightful shelf, a habit out of respect for knowledge - before once again he turned to look at the nine tailed fox.

Truth be told he had never talked with this woman, aside from brief glances that all individuals share, she was a mystery as much as he was, despite the facade of an alluring, perhaps desirable woman the swordsman had the tendency to study the gazes of others, and in Ahri he sensed the need to belong, but he didn’t chose to believe this for he had never talked or studied her further in the past.

 “Well…” He began “The night is still young, Vixen. If your reason of approaching me is truly as genuine as you present it, then you have my attention.”

I n d u l g e n c e . Voluptuous, roseate lips were leisurely curled upwards, giving only a brief and feeble glimpse of sharp, alabaster fangs before being shaped into a mischievous, captivating and quite deceiving smile; the vulpine-she’s ethereal, statuesque visage often morphed its features, concealing her real emotions while unfolding misleading straws of thoughts and feelings. She was just like a creature of clay: everything about her was constantly forged, modified again and again until she finally succeeded into gaining what she longed for. If the young man desired so, he could have kept on looking into her eyes for as long as he needed to; all he would have seen were a pair of brilliant, auriferous optics whose savage and monstruous shades and characteristics could not be concealed any further.      “As much as I feel guilty for interrupting your relaxing evening with only a book as your company, I can’t help but feel honored to see that you’ve finally decided to focus your whole attention on me; I promise you will not regret it.”

Calm, melodious words were rolled on her tongue, providing them with a captivating and hypnotizing tone while a strong emphasis was put on certain key words; this night was certainly going to be entertaining.      “Savage creatures such as foxes and wolves often spend their nights hunting and preying on the weak; of course, this might be too wild for the two of us... Therefore, I can’t help but ask... What would you like to do, my dear? It’s our first encounter, thus we shall make it u n f o r g e t t a b l e.”

He stared at her, his eyes only half open. “I am sleeping just-” he yawns, “fine.” He sighed, sitting down on the ground. “Why do you ask.”

He shook his head. “I am sleeping fine….” He sighed. “When I can actually manage to fall asleep..” He Looked up at her. “Every time I am about to sleep I suddenly wake up- I do not know why…”

❥ - The she-fox slowly walked closer to the young male, yet allowing him to have enough private space; her head was leisurely rocked to the side while her index finger moved upwards, resting on her velvety chin.      “You either are sick, or... Something is troubling your mind to the point that your body refuses to let you sleep. Did something happen?”
