As the political climate worsens and our governments and even social media websites come down harder on trans women, I beg my fellow lesbians to remember that trans women are some of the most ostracized members of our community. Listen to them, support them and hold space for them in your discussions on gender, sexuality and politics. Lesbians and trans women are sisters, please never forget that.
