alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)

I answered the questions for the sake of clean data, but I do just want to expand on my answers here, if I may. I'm 37. I love to go to museums in person, and my interests lead me to browsing through and looking things up in various online archives frequently.
If i saw an archive or museum using AI in ANY capacity, I would immediately lose faith in the veracity of their collection. One of the newer reasons I have come to appreciate museums and archives for is as a haven against the AI slop that currently chokes other information sources. I can't trust Google image results to turn up genuine images of actual real-world objects or historical sources, but i can trust (for now) that museums and archives contain actual artifacts and genuine primary sources.
If I see an archive or museum using AI in any way, I can't trust thrm anymore, and I will likely never look to their collection again. Their entire collection becomes worthless to me.
Win98 Ao3 site skin
Hey there! For those that like a retro feel, I made an Ao3 site skin that resembles that OS. Everything should be okay to see for everyone in terms of icons. Big thanks to this css and this icons archive for the icons used. Whole thing is a bit big top paste in here, but you can find the doc via my website here.
Some extra tweaks:
Custom logo, mini-icon, and kudos image
Darkened author notes sections
I'm making a full dark-mode version of this, but that will be for later.
Copy-paste the css in a new site skin in your profile per the Ao3 instructions.
DARK MODE!
Basically build up from the Reversi skin. Since I didn't work with the default light-mode Ao3 for the Win98 Light Mode, that one may not be perfect with some of the text being in either a light or dark font color.
Dark Mode is better in text but I couldn't figure out a color palette for the header bars that both suited the dark mode of it and the win98 feel. Still, it's much better on the eyes at night, and that't the most important for me.
Might tweak both to suit my own preferences in the future, but for now Win98 Dark Mode can be found here.

Like he died before he even got to go on the mission, he never even made it to the launch pad, and yet his preferred method of ending the mission is exactly was what allowed Rocky and Grace to finish it..
Maybe there would have been some nitrogen aboard anyway or they could have science-d some up, but having several tanks there and ready for them to breed nitrogen resistant taumeoba all because of DuBois will never not make me want to sob
(not to mention having that quantity aboard allowed Grace to rid the ship of the leak easily without too much stress of resource management, he had the gas to spare and flood the ship with)
Anyway there is so much tragedy in the Hail Mary crew that didn’t make it, but something about them haunting the narrative and being a part of the completed mission in the end never fails to make me feel genuinely sick
Their sacrifices would have meant something anyway, their bravery and willingness to die to save earth can never be forgotten, but the tragedy of them never getting to make the mission feels so wrong, and yet, they were there the whole time, in the extra coma slurry that kept Grace alive, in the nitrogen that created a life form that would save two worlds, Project Hail Mary crew I love you, you did not die for nothing
