Herringbone work table and bucket chair.

Wood (type unknown), wood construction materials, plastic buckets, spray paint.

This table was made by hand in a dorm room during COVID for a sculpture class. You can see just how cramped it was! I had very limited resources that were provided by the teacher. The design was my own creation, as the only requirement was that the frame must fit over two buckets in order to make a table.

Parts have been censored in order to protect personal information and prevent people from applying to an outdated event

My professor had a contest for his design students to create a flyer that would be used on the virtual billboard in the Journalism department, as well as printed for around the campus.

Self-Portrait in paper cutouts

My favourite self-portrait yet. This piece was a lot of fun and required more to it than one might expect. Here are the steps if you want to try it yourself!

Take a high contrast photo of yourself. AKA dark room with flash on.

Use editing software to apply a posterise effect to the photo (I used Photoshop and recommend about 4 levels)

Determine which parts of the face are highlights, shadows, mediums, etc and sort appropriately into layers via wand selection.

Print each layer individually.

After determining your pallet, start cutting out the shapes with an Exacto or utility knife (I recommend taping the papers together so that cutting through 2 layers is easier).

Glue from the lowest layer to the highest.
