Val & The “lolo” tweets 12/9-12/10
Prompt: Val plays with Janel's hair in front of his parents.
It’s such a normal habit for him now they don’t even realize he’s doing it.
They’re sitting across the dinner table from his parents and Janel is telling some story about Hawaii, and without thinking he tangles a hand in her hair, absentmindedly twisting and untwisting her curls around his fingers.
She keeps telling the story, unfazed because this is so typical of him, and when his parents share a quick knowing smile she doesn’t even notice.
But he does, and his hand freezes in her hair. Janel is still clueless as he goes to take his hand back, but then his father shoots him a covert wink and glances at his mother, and he sees that he’s got his hand on her shoulder, rubbing small circles with his thumb. In retrospect he realizes they nearly always sit like that. His father always has his hand on his mother’s shoulder, and he always has his hand in Janel’s hair, and he wonders if someday they’ll have a son who will sit across from them with an arm around his girlfriend and notice the same thing.
He thinks they will.

Guys... I'm proud of most of you for how Janelskiy loves have been handling this whole mess. With the exception of some, I have seen only kind words for J and for Z. That's how it needs to stay. And it needs to stay in our own space. That said... don't get discouraged. We know nothing. And I'd like to point out that just because Val doesn't post about J does not mean anything. Mark has been in a relationship for 2 years and you can count the number of pics on his IG of he and his gf almost on one hand. The key to a relationship is protecting it, and V can take a good lesson from Mark (who he has been hanging out with lately btw), about keeping things private. Don't let negativity stay in your ears. Love you guys. 💚
