Victoria for HIGH CUT
“Hm.” Was her idle observation.
On the ground laid a woman and, for a second, Cypress thought to immediately turn and leave. Act innocent and call for help. This wasn’t her kill, after all. Although, on further observation she could then tell that the other was in fact still alive. Well, among the living. With another sniff, she could also deduce that the smell of vampire had also come from this woman.
“Hmph.” Crouching down, she put a hand on their shoulder and shook it. Not lightly, but not harshly either. A thrall would get up nearly immediately after being bitten, give a second or two. So, was she turned? “Despierta bella durmiente…Get up, if you’re really alive.
The last thing that Jiwoh remembered was screaming and the pain that settled all throughout her body. Her body burned from the inside out, even scratching her skin almost to the point of blood shed couldn’t even help what her body was putting her through.
Her throat burned and her voice was coarse and raspy, most likely from all the screaming she did prior to burning her throat out. But no matter how much she screamed, nobody happened to hear her. Nobody cared. She was a nobody after all. An orphaned kid at birth, who would ever want to help her?
At this point, the pain had numbed all her feelings both physically and emotionally. But just when the thought of giving up had settled in her mind, she felt a cold, yet soothing touch on her on her skin, followed by the muffled sound of a soft and gentle voice. It had sparked in the dying girl that this could potentially be her chance to live, but no matter how hard she thought about trying to open her eyes, they couldn’t.
Jiwoh could feel herself crying, but there weren’t any tears. She heard her voice all out in her head ‘Please help me.. please help me..’ But her mouth wasn’t moving. It was only until she felt the burning sensation itch the back of her throat and the chills running through her body, that she felt her mind connect with her body.
And in an instant, the girl shot up with her hand over her throat. Her eyes blinked rapidly trying to find just one thing to focus on, the source of that soft voice. It was only mere seconds that her tear filled eyes locked with a pair of hazel eyes. “Aidez moi..”
Peter stood inside the stall, staring blankly down at the piece of clothing. The expensive piece of clothing. He was too busy considering his options, even so wondering if the female’s suggestion was right for him. He was sure that she was strangely correct about this after realising that he had noticed that she had chosen the right size for his build.
After a while of taking and putting on garments, Peter paused his thoughts to stare at his reflection, his expression giving away his surprise. He was impressed by how she had chosen out the right size for his build, and how it didn’t make him look podgy like a few sweaters tended to make him look. ‘ Jesus, I should probably hire or something.’
He chuckled to himself and poked his head out from behind the curtain partition. ❝Would you like to see? You could probably choose out a whole outfit if you feel like– No pressure.❞
Her ears perked up at the sound of the curtains moving. She excitedly smiled as she stood up, ready to examine her work. “ Of course I want to see!” She waved her hand, gesturing for the male to come out of the dressing room.
A triumphant smile etched itself onto her lips as she saw the elements of the sweater work with the curves on the male’s body. He stood still as she walked around him, trying to see how she could better what she had already done.
"Hmm.. hold on just a second.. now where did I put those..." The vampire mumbled to herself as she looked around the lounging area. She usually kept a pincushion near by for any quick alteration markings but right now, she wasn't able to find it.
"I'll be right back! I'm going to find my pincushion. As for the rest of your outfit my assistant should bring it in for you very shortly. Don't not wait up and try them on. I should be back by then!" Not even giving him a chance to speak, she flashed him a smile before disappearing from the room.
"Bring him those black pants with the gold accent button and I'll leave the socks and shoes up to you. I've worked with you long enough to trust your taste." Her assistant nodded obediently before scurrying off to get the desired items. It wasn't even five minutes later when her assistant handed the clothing off to him and with a single nod of the head, she disappeared as well.
✍ —- He bit his lips still glaring but deciding to drop it anyways. She was a tough girl and it wasn’t really any of his business to lecture her. Just the wounds made him ball his fists. ⎧It is true the forest is not a safe place… but it is a nice and quiet place to relax and think⎫ He enjoyed going to the forest more than anything ⎧Besides it will be safe for you now because I am here… i will protect you.. ⎫
Victoria reached down to hold his currently balled up fists. "Hey, hey.. Relax okay? What's done is done and like you said, I have you to protect me now. " Even though she wasn't the one who needed much protecting, she really appreciated his efforts. "I suppose that is true.. but thank you Tamlin. I really appreciate it. You know I always have your back too right? Always."
✍ —- He frowned clicking his tongue a glare on his lips. ❝ I don’t care if the bruise fades quickly…. The fact is someting still bruised your skin and hurt you..❞ He crossed his arms shaking his head. He hated seeing wounds or bruises or pain on people. He had seen enough of that in the mansion.
Another chuckle left the girl's lips as she reached over to ruffle the boy's hair. "Who's older than who here?" She said, with a motherly smile. Her hand lightly patted his shoulder before bringing back to her side. "Trust me, I'm a tough girl." She jokingly held up her arm, flexing them in the process. "And plus the forest isn't such a safe place either."

↳ ❝ How did you get these bruises? Please don’t lie to me.❞
A chuckle escaped the girl’s lips as she shook her head. “Stop worrying, potato head. In the next five minutes it’ll be like it’s not even there.” Victoria looked down at the already fading purple circle on her arm. She had gone hunting and unfortunately it wasn’t a very peaceful encounter. “See?” She held up her arm with a soft smile. “Ta-daaa~”

Staring into the second-floor ally window of her target’s office, Junghwa took a steady breath before relaying the information of that night’s job in her head—Victoria Rose Carter, co-founder of Brûlée Industries; not necessarily a big-name fashion brand, but she had heard about it once in an article, and she might have a blouse from them. The man that approached her sounded like he had a terrible grudge against her target, but she didn’t truly understand why he would want her dead so bad for something as benign as what sounded like a simple feud; the man offered her two thousand dollars for the job, so she could care less, honestly.
Watching her target leave her room, she finally had the opportunity to slip the window open; wedging her knife into a crack between the window, she slowly but surely pried open the window, giving her enough space to slip inside the room soundlessly and shut the window in record time, hiding behind a tall decorative plant in the shaded corner of the lightless room before she returned. She watched the woman return to her seat after a couple minutes, and Junghwa took a moment to breathe, to ease her thoughts—even four years later, she still felt the slightest bit nervous before doing this type of thing. Soon after, she swiftly ran out from the corner, running in front of her desk and whipped her silenced gun out from her belt, and quickly firing a shot into the center of the startled woman’s forehead. Quick. Easy.
… Except she didn’t budge, eyes still staring directly into her’s. She waited a few seconds, waiting for her head to collapse onto the desk like she expected, but it… it just never happened.
Her gun was still aimed at the woman, her hands beginning to shake—what the fuck was happening?
Another sigh escaped the vampire’s lips as she looked over her design once more. Victoria wasn’t usually one to get designers block, but when she did, it was like trying to ask a wall for advice. It didn’t go anywhere but down and with deadlines coming around the corner, it just made the immortal even more irritable. And to add on to her stress, she hadn’t fed in almost two weeks.
Every little thing made her want to break something. The way the light shined, the arrangement of her pencils, the way her necklace sat it was getting under her skin-- if she had blood in her body, it definitely would’ve been boiling right now.
Taking a breath, she ran her fingers through her hair. It was at times like this where Victoria wished she could eat human food cause a burger with fries sounded great right now. “I need to get some air or something..” She stood up from her chair, quickly dashing out of the room and into the break room.
She grabbed a water bottle from the table as she teared off the cap and chugged down half of it, hoping to quench her thirst, but lady luck wasn’t on her side right now. “Even water tastes bad..” A shiver ran down her spine as she threw the bottle into the recycling.
The smell of human blood hit her like a brick to the head as she entered back into her office. She clawed the inside of her palm, telling herself to calm down since it always happened when she was hungry, but if it was any other vampire, they probably would’ve snapped by now. The sound of swift footsteps, instantly picked up in the female’s ears, making her snap her head up to the source of the sound. But next thing she knew, there was a bullet in her head.
The faint sound of glass cracking was heard through the silence after the blow. It was Victoria’s skin filling in the skin that should’ve been gushing buckets of blood. Her eyes flickered to a light hazel shade as she looked into the terror filled eyes of the girl standing in front of her. She slowly pushed back her chair and made her way to the front of her desk where she sat down. A smile grazed her features as her fingers grazed her unharmed forehead.
“Hm..” She hummed as she looked at the girl from head to toe. “Aren’t you a little..young to be doing things like this?” Her feels lightly clicked against the floor as she got up and circled around the other female. The sweet smell of her blood was already putting Victoria in a daze. She made it back to the front where she tightly gripped the girl’s chin in her hand.
“You have really good timing, you know? I haven’t fed in two weeks.. and you’re just my type..” Her eyes darkened as the tip of her tongue lightly coated the inner part of her lips. “A. But--” Victoria held up one of her fingers, sitting back down on her desk.
“Since I’m such a nice person, I’ll give you ten seconds to explain why the fuck you just put a bullet in my head and if I don’t like your reasoning.. well it looks I’m going to have a feast, all to myself.”

Truth be told, Peter didn’t know anything about what the female was talking about. Sure, he understood that some clothes tended to make him look chubbier than he was, though he wouldn’t have claimed he was buff either. A simple way to put it was: fashion is not his strong point.
❝Uh, yeah.. Of course,❞ He flashed an unsure smile when she turned, with his gaze landing on the sweater tossed onto the floor. Peter hadn’t expected the other to have snatched the sweater out of the outlaw’s arms. ‘Feisty. I like.’
His gaze flickered around the room, reassessing his choices as he eventually settled his attention back onto her and the sweater she held out. ❝This? If you say so–❞ He hesitantly took the clothing from her, turning in his step to scamper into the fitting rooms.
A chuckle escaped the woman’s lips as she followed slowly behind the male. “I think I would know since I was the one who designed both of those, but that’s just me.” Victoria lightly brushed off her shoulders signifying a little pat on the back. She always liked to help around in her stores and not be so cramped up in her office all the time. And even though she tried to keep a low profile, it’s always amusing to see the astonished looks on people’s face when they found out who she was.
She took a seat in one of the chairs in the mini waiting room before she crossed her legs, doing little things like picking the lint off her pants or checking her manicure as she waited for the male to exit. Now that she had some time to think, she had never seen this guy in any of her stores. ‘Hmm.. maybe he’s vacationing..’
“Is everything okay in there? Do you need anything else?”
{ The female approaches her, She curtseys; Her eyes closing as she bowed her head to then flutter her eyes opened again, Staring at the female with her deep red orbs } Greetings, It's lovely to meet you, I'm Naeun Roselie Park and you?
( ` hearing the girl’s frail voice, she slowly looked up from her sketch book; her dark brown eyes flashed a light hazel color upon meeting her dark red ones, feeling a bit apprehensive towards the girl as she feels a different aura from her ) Victoria, Victoria-Rose Carter. Greetings to you too Naeun. (` rests her elbow on her crossed legs as she places her chin in the palm of her hand, raising her eyebrow) I’m guessing you’re not really from around here?

Peter inhaled sharply as he turned to face a female, a head shorter than himself with long, dark locks. ❝Excuse me?❞ He gaped as her manicured finger pointed towards the designer sweater in his hold. ❝What do you mean this would not look good on me? I have the best figure from the Gua– my family!❞
‘Great.. Nearly exposed myself in front of another Human.’
“I’m just saying the truth you know.” Victoria’s heels lightly clicked against the marble floor as she approached the young male. Her fingers lightly grazed the fabric of the sweater; the sweater that she designed. Taking another look at the person in front of her with more detail, his words made the immortal laugh to herself.
“The shape of this sweater would just make you look round and short. You need something more.. lengthening. No?” She spoke the last bit in English, exposing her slight French accent. But even before he could answer, the designer whipped the piece of clothing out of his arms throwing it over her own arm.
“Ah! Stay here.” She said as she pointed to him. Her feet scurried across the floor, quickly switching the sweater out for the one she desired. The color, the fit, the design looked as though it made for him and with a satisfied smile, she made her way back to him.
“Here it is,” She said as she held it out. “Try it on.”
