viktor may look like he wants to devour you but that's just his autism dw jayce he won't bite (he will bite)
Zaun vik and Jayce
in all timelines in all possibilities only you can show me this
Zaundads Arcane AU where not only Vander but Silco find the girls on the bridge thus starts the awkward co-parenting still trying to kill each other but not really. Mostly Silco trying to not really kill Vander Sevika is just rolling her eyes.
The entirety of the undercity are just watching not sure if the 2 are a couple or not and everyone is kinda to scared to ask (Asking Benzo the man refuses to talk about it and Sevika just says that their fucking idiots and nothing else)
The kids don't go on the job because Silco is there and like 'Get more information more your job and have an exit plan ect' cue digging and finding out about Jayce's hex tech idea with leads to Jayce walking in on Powder and Ekko looking over his notes and showing their additions... he is very confused but also... kinda impressed. Once the others arrive after finding out Powder and Ekko left they find the 23 of them brainstorming. The three start working together and want to test it cue Viktor meeting them (And then Ekko and Powder trying to match-make Jayce and Vikor constantly, Jayce and Viktor get payback when Ekko and Powder start to realize they like each other)
This leading to under-city and nation of Zaun plan progressing and the entire council being confused by Silco and Vander relationship.
Caitlyn and Vi meeting and the 2 being instantly love-struck. Caitlyn gets the weirdest shovel talks ever.
What actually happened to Jayce and Viktor in the end? And why didnβt Ekkoβs Z-drive destroy everything within its blast radius?
TL;DR: the only timeline that could have worked was the one where Viktor gives Jayce the Acceleration rune, where Ekko invents the Z-drive, and where Jayce saves Viktor and gets his partner back.
Something weβve seen pointed out is that the world rune that worked in this timelineΒ was the Acceleration rune, which has the function of transportation through time and space.Β
Ekkoβs Z-drive was built by inverting Jayceβs Acceleration rune (this is important later).
where do u think jayce immigrated from? i saw somewhere saying shurima with probably mixed ixtali parents. ixtal bc it was once a part of the shurima empire. north african, west asian, latino king⦠especially wild rift survivor jayce has that look to me.
Remembered this ask just now so stealing tidbits from my fic;
I think Jayce is the son of an Ixtali mother & a Piltovan father. He has this line in s1 stating 'My father put hammers in the hands of the people, and they built this magnificent city. Imagine the wonders they could create if we put magic in their hands.' - to me this shows a historical link between the Talis-dad side & being in service of Piltover, Jayce has shaped himself around this idealistic goal all his life and its really not what he imagined it would be.
now Ixtal is the Leagueoflegends-verse region based on Aztec/Mayan aesthetics and general southamerican flair. They survived multiple apocalyptic threats by weaving a jungle around themselves and cutting their people off from the rest of runeterra. Canonically, this region has been the target of colonization efforts by both Noxus and Piltover, though neither have found much success. The jungle has a way of disappearing people. Even More Ironically, Ixtal is one of the regions where magic is harnessed and allowed to go free; in their own words, they are THE oldest bastion of ancient knowledge, masters of the elements. In my view, this makes it so Jayce is both metaphorically and literally reaching for an inheritance that has been denied to him.
Everyone mentions the mountains when talking about immigration but there are mountains outside of Piltover! They're not in Freljord! i know this because i asked Amanda myself. It's likely Ximena & Jayce were up in the mountain for work reasons like mining.
Also, the mountain stuff gives him even more ties to Mexican heritage:
There's something so perverse about how Jayce is paraded around in white and red and gold when his House colors are clearly shades of blues and browns.
Especially because the more he is used and controlled by the council as a whole, the more he is plastered about as some figurehead or poster boy of Piltover's progresses, the more he is draped in the gilding of false colors.
We actually never get to see him wearing his own House colors past his flashback with the mage, in which the majority of his little outfit is made up of the more humble color scheme.
The only thing he actually still owns in his house colors is the blanket he gives to Viktor, which can be seen in his childhood room and is made of the same material his mother wore during the blizzard for warmth.
Edit to add:
I'm adding this to the original post so y'all don't assume I just didn't analyze the literal BEST Jayce outfit in the whole series.
It's a mourning shroud.
While the highlights may have some blue to them (blue highlighting is very common in animation to keep things from looking dull or muddy) the midtone on his shirt is actually in the yellow field.
Also, no. The Talis House symbol is not red. It's brown and gold (sometimes with white).
Any red relating to the Talis symbol is BECAUSE of the color corruption of Jayce, not in spite of it.
The outfit still has meaning, but as I said in the post, he NEVER goes back to his family colors after being paraded around in the red, gold, and white.
This outfit is black, red, and silver. His armor is black and gold with an off white coat (to show that he's still doing this in a way for Piltover as well, probably.)
It's and end and new beginning. It's a rebirth.
Not a return.

Not me explaining that here on Tumblr tits is a gender neutral term for big chests unless the person has said they don't like it
On a serious note people being unironically horny about cis men and referring to their chests as tits in their horny rantings has made me feel more comfortable as someone who is transmasc
Like I don't have huge dysphoria about my chest because I'm not very well endowed but I still have some and like thinking: "I'm a sexy dude with sexy tits" is actually a good feeling for me personally
my blog is a safe place for the gender neutral usage of tits
Made an arcane fan animation hehe

Broke:
Belle has Stockholm syndrome because she falls in love with the Beast, her kidnapper.
Woke:
Stockholm syndrome was coined to slander a woman who had been in a hostage situation but openly criticized the poor police response which recklessly put her in more danger and escalated the violence. She was then belittled and discredited publically by the police for this.
So. Yeah. Maybe Belle does have Stockholm syndrome actually.
If anyone is curious here is the wikipedia section describing this.
[ID: Gif image from Disney's Beauty and the Beast with Gaston leading a large group of villagers down the road holding a torch. The atmosphere is dark.

According to accounts by Kristin Enmark, one of the hostages, the police however was acting incompetently, with little care for the hostages' safety, which forced the hostages to negotiate for their life and release with the robbers on their own. In the process the hostages saw the robbers behaving more rationally than police negotiators and therefore developed a deep distrust towards the latter.Β Enmark had criticized Bejerot specifically for endangering their lives by behaving aggressively and agitating the captors. She had criticized the police for pointing guns at the convicts while the hostages were in the line of fire and she had told news outlets that one of the captors tried to protect the hostages from being caught in the crossfire. She was also critical of prime ministerΒ Olof Palme, as she had negotiated with the captors for freedom, but the prime minister told her that she would have to content herself to die at her post rather than give in to the captors' demands. Ultimately, Enmark explained she was more afraid of the police whose attitude seemed to be a much larger, direct threat to her life than the robbers.]
Hope the ID helps, it's my first time writing one.
Excerpts from βSee What You Made Me Do: The Dangers of Domestic Abuse That We Ignore, Explain Away, or Refuse to Seeβ by Jess Hill
Here are some other facts you should know about Nils Bejerot: He had a major influence (this involved founding the "Swedish National Association for a Drug-free Society") on Sweden's zero-tolerance approach to drug use.
And he wrote "Barn, Serier, SamhΓ€lle" (Children, Comics, Society), basically the Swedish version of "Seduction of the Innocent"; an infamous anti-comics book by Fredric Wertham that led to the Comics Code Authority.
Bejerot described comic books as a "significant mental hygiene and cultural problem that concerns us all."
This is the man who coined the phrase "Stockholm syndrome", guys.
