Ozias looked over at her, seeing the grin spread on her lips as she spoke. "Bad idea." she said. She may not be living here for too long so she wouldn't have any clue what this man down the hallway was capable of. And usually, he would go just back inside his apartment, let people do whatever the hell they want. It wasn't his own business. And seriously, he did warn her. Why would he try to keep her from doing something she wants to do? Because he knew better. She may was bored, annoyed, whatever. But risking her own life because of this was just dumb.
"Do what you want. But if you go down there and annoy this man. This may be your last night living here. Better do something you really wanna do instead." he said. That was warning enough. Goodnight." he spoke before he went inside his apartment.
bad idea, she rolled her eyes at the words. she had heard that plenty of times in her life. she knew doing something was probably stupid. but she wasn't the type of person to just sit around either, especially not when someone was getting hurt. she knew what that was like. what it was like waiting, wishing for someone to help you, and it was lonely. she had promised herself she was going to try and stay out of trouble, also promised her older sister. but would this really be her fault if she intervened? in her mind, she'd be doing everyone a favor. she looked over at ozias, taking in some of his words. better to do something you really want to do, that was the problem. she didn't know anymore.
“goodnight” she said without a second thought. his words didn't stay with her. she stayed outside the mans apartment, purposely trying to annoy him. probably annoying ozias more than anything with her stubborn attempts. until two doors swung open.
