“Vickie, come on! Look at me? Do you really think I would be doing benzos, of all people?”
An incredulous shake of her head, heart racing as Robin realized the weight of this moment. Her conversation with Vickie hinged on the rest of their plan now that she had been caught. She absolutely had to get her girlfriend? the other girl to understand. Robin threw her hands up, hopping off of the hospital bed, causing it to creak loudly and shift away from her. Her gaze was wide, pleading when it met Vickie’s again.
“The earth has split in four- the military has taken over our town. Is what I’m saying really that insane and hard to believe?”
“I won’t think you’re understanding me. These kids parents don’t have a clue, and if I don’t get out of here soon we are screwed.” Her voice cracks in exasperation.
Robin walks around Vickie’s pacing for a moment, trying to step in front of her. She scoffs before finally putting her hands on the other girl’s shoulder’s to get her attention.
“Vickie! Will you just stop and look at me!” Sapphire hues are wide, pleading as her gaze meets the other’s. “You know me- I don’t have a filter! And I mean, obviously I am not a good liar. This time it’s no bullshit. If I didn’t want to hang out with you I would tell you! It isn’t that. I want to be able to spend time with you.”
Vickie sighs and rubs her head and stops pacing
“So you do want to spend time with me…?” Vickie asks her voice soft
“I know you and you don’t have filter and you are a really bad liar” She says this time a small smile on her face as she thinks about all the things Robin does that she likes times Robin has shown she doesn’t have a filter
“I’m just worried about you and Im trusting you that you aren’t lying…. But if you were on stuff you can talk to me Robin I’m here for you, even if that means finding out there’s another dimension and evil wizards”
Vickie says as she grabs Robins hands mostly to ground herself
