Making Cuts Porcelain by Studio Bomi
A rather unknown technique of shaping clay is slip casting. The Seoul born and Berlin based Bomi Lee created the Making Cuts series of porcelain items by cutting slip casted clay and joining it by overlapping to create new volumes. The result are porcelain products, with roots in the functional past and very straight modern shapes.
