Time for a rant....
- I had a long day and decided to grab some beer after work from the LCBO so I could have it while I watch the game. LCBO closes at 6 in the Metro Concourse Hall and I get there at 6:04. - Get on the Subway for what I think will be a quick commute home. 45 minutes later I am still stuck in the subway tunnel. Oh and did I mention that it smelt like rotten cauliflower? - My poor dog is waiting for me at home to be fed. And with my luck there will be piss all over the place and will have ripped the couch to shreds (as he did the last time we didn't feed him on time/no one was home). - Oh and I have a blind pimple on my lip so it makes it ridiculous hard to talk without some sort of pain. AND I'm Pmsing. I think that's it for now but I will be sure to update you all if anything gets worse! Until then... XO Vp
Weekend at the Ritz!
Sooo I have bragged about this to all my friends and family and have re-told the story of my weekend over and over again but I am going to go on about it one more time in detail (this is probably more for my own memory than anything else.)
Brando and I went to the Ritz Carlton this weekend to enjoy a gift certificate that I won this summer. We were only there for about 26 hours.. but they were the best 26 hours I have had in a LONG time.
First off, we arrive at the stunning hotel and are greeted like royalty from a valet who parks Brandon's 2000 Honda Accord. We check in and are told to head up to our room with our bags to follow. Little did we know that we were in a SUITE. We had a den, hallway, 2 bathrooms, 3 TV's (including the TV hologram in the bathroom mirror), heated floor tiles in the bathroom, king size bed, floor to ceiling windows, the Globe and Mail delivered to our door step, Cappucino maker.... and pretty much anything we requested, as long as it wasn't illegal or immoral - as our Bellman told us.
We toured the spa, pool, hot tub, yoga room and work out facility and were amazed by all the amenities. Oh and did I mention that there were water jugs all over the hotel filled with fresh fruit flavoured water. They definitely kept us hydrated.
After our tour we got ready for a fancy dinner at Kit Kat which had amazing home cooked style Italian food and the best Long Island Iced Tea I have ever had! We wined and dined in the busy Kit Kat and then made our way back to enjoy some time at the Ritz' cocktail bar.
Next day, we woke up to realize we still had 4 hours to spare (thank you daylight savings). Read the Globe and Mail in bed (that was delivered to our room). Drank our Cappuccinos and reminisced about the weekend.
So, thank you Ritz Carlton! You made my month!! This one is going to be very hard to top. And yes, I do accept gift certificates for my positive reviews ;)
Until next time...
Xo Vp
Heading up to the Sudzzzz
Yes followers, I have failed you once again. I haven't posted in a month, I do apologize. Life is madness as usual. I am still working at Veritas, teaching for my Dad at his studio, galavanting around the cities of Toronto and Mississauga with my new hunk and trying to find time to eat and sleep between all that. Today I am heading up to Sudbury with the boy, or Sudzz as it is pronounced by all the cool kids. I just hope it's not snowing up there. Kiddinggg. Anyways, I will try my best to post some pics of the fun places I end up this weekend and the cool people I meet. Until next time, -Victoria :)
I just stumbled upon this and thought I'd share :)
Attempt #2 at my blog
Ok Ladies and Gents. Clearly I haven't been the best blogger lately, and for that I do apologize. I was recently hired on from my internship at Veritas Communications :) yayyy. Although this means that I won't have anymore "Life of an intern" stories for you (Sad I know). It does mean that I will have a whole new set of stories. I have also made a vow to myself to update my blog at least 3 times a week, starting NOW! And I promise to continue to provide/attempt to provide the Tumblrverse with all my findings, stumblings, people watching moments, travel insights, songs, photos and more! So stay tuned and get on my ass if I don't update regularly!! Xo Victoria

Happy Friday Everyone!!!
Amazing video my travelling partner in crime posted on my fb wall. "3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage... all to turn 3 ambitious linear concepts based on movement, learning and food ....into 3 beautiful and hopefully compelling short film" I wish this was me! Enjoy :)
Soo I am heading off to London Eng. in about 10 hours and I thought I would write a little post to say how EXCITED I am and to explain how amazing this little trip is and how lucky I am :)
As some of you may know, I went back-packing throughout Australia and New Zealand for 5 months after high school and while I was in New Zealand I did a 'Kiwi Experience' bus tour around both islands in New Zealand. I spent about a month in total on the bus but took away a LIFE TIME worth of friendships. On the bus I met, Rikke and Mai - the Crazy Danes. Michelle and Laura- the Brits. Nick- soon to be my big brother. And Andre- the Mom of the group. Add me to the bunch, Vic- and we make the 'Kiwi Crew'.
Can you believe that only after knowing these people for a month, I have already had 4 reunions with them almost every year since we met in 2006 and I am SOOOO excited to say that the main reason for this reunion is that I am flying down to London for Andre's wedding!!!!! I am soo incredibly lucky that I have found these amazing friendships that have not only lasted, but pick up right where they leave off every time I see them.
I have visited Rikke and Mai in Denmark. Laura has visited me in Canada with her boyfriend Tom, and both had never been to Canada before! They came down just for me! :)
I promise to take tons of photos and blast them all over Tumblr for you all to see! But I just wanted to write this post and share with everyone how amazing traveling is and how many fantastic and wonderful people you can meet while you explore the world!!!!
BON VOYAGE!!!!!
Just stumbled upon this and I Love it!
Absolutely amazing time lapse video of the night sky over the ocean!
I stole it from this site .
Enjoy!! :)
This is an episode!
Haven't written on here in what seems like FOREVER! Life is still truckin on as always. But with the long weekend coming up (extra long for me because I get Thursday AND Friday off!) I thought I would send a little note out into the Tumblrverse. Life of an intern is crazy fun as always. And with the crazy fun comes he madness of balancing work, friends, family, graduating, boys (or lack there of), drama, gossip, sad days, road trips, partying, bar nights, shopping, travelling, cottage, summer fun and more. And with all this I feel that my life deserves a show. Along with the fact that I get myself into ridiculous and often wildly entertaining situations. One of the other interns at Veritas and myself, have decided that our lives would be quite entertaining if we had our own show - as she is quite possibly one of the wittiest people I have ever met- and people would obviously die of laughter at our antics ;) So we will name the show 'The Interns'. We will pitch it to MTV Canada. We will be instant sensations. We will become rich and famous.... and that is that.
Any questions?
The Black Sheep
Sooo I have been thinking about tattoos lately - as I want to get another one when I go to London Eng. in July. And after debating with myself and discussing with friends and fam about where/ what I should get. It suddenly hit me yesterday....
Part 1: Ever since I was a babe I have had a lamb stuffed named Lamby- cute name, I know. Anyways, I've slept with Lamby every night since I was 18 months old and because of Lamby, I have a weird obsession with Sheep. It has become a cute little family inside joke and every time it's easter, my sister will get a bunny (which is her nickname) and I will get a sheep/lamb. Anytime I get a stuffed animal it's a lamb. I have lamb key chains, shirts, cups, hair clips, magnets... I think you get the idea.
Part 2: There is a saying about a black sheep- "Be the Black Sheep..." or something along those lines haha - and I try to live my life by that. If you know me, you know that I am not a fan of the 'norm' and I enjoy zigzagging my way through life, instead of following the pack. I wasn't the most popular kid in high school and didn't have the cool factor, I didn't go to University right away and I don't want to get married/ have kids for a long while. I would rather be unique and 'The Black Sheep' than a white sheep and follow the rest of the herd around.
For example; my sister and I were coming home from the Glee concert last night and we were in the crowd of people at Bloor street. Everyone was crammmming to get down two flights of stairs. While everyone was pushing and shoving to get down, no one realized there was a third one open, so my sister and I - the Black Sheep we are - led the way down the third set and made the train before all the other sheep.
Long story short, I'm getting a little black sheep tattooed onto my foot/maybe my ribs!
Smallest dog I have ever seen. - On the way to the Glee concert, my sister and I sat beside this little guy and his awesome Brazilian owner who is here in Canada studying english. She let us hold him and we chatted about her time in Canada so far. This little guy is 10 wks old and will only be about 2lbs when fully grown. Bahhh such a cutie I had to share :)
