Nothing is hotter than getting permission from a sniper Hound to perform maintenance on their personal rifle.
The way they look at you with those eyes, seeing all the different ways you disassemble the weapon, lovingly cleaning every part of it, and giving tender care to broken parts.
Especially because sniper Hounds tend to be very protective of their weapons. It's their fetish item, the thing that keeps them grounded, keeps them calm when things get stressful. I've seen years of Handler programming break in under five seconds from an upstart Handler being given a sniper hound, only to try and damage their favourite gun as punishment. Being a Handler means to give and take, but if you take to much, the Hound has no reason not to remove your jaw from your face and disembowel you with it.
So with that in mind, asking permission to help a Hound with their rifle, or even more intimately, being asked for HELP by the Hound, is an immense feeling.
Also some of them get off on it. And frankly, can't blame them. How'd you feel watching your most intimate limb, a weapon that slays enemies and a treasures item that helps you sleep, get lovingly cared for by someone who cares? Out of the 17 times I've been given the privlege to carry out this task by Hounds, some were repeats, over half the time tents were pitched and basements were flooded.
The last one i did maintenance for? Well... remember the sniper from my previous entry? The one who got intimate with her guns? Yeah, we smashed. Turns out, when you can make someone need a change of pants just by racking a bolt, things tend to lead into other things, and then both parties can't walk for the next 24 hours.
This is why Handlers hate me.
