I’m looking at the world and seeing the universe.
I experience glimpses, moments of profound clarity, of lightness, like the grandeur of a Colorado sunset painting the sky with ribbons of light. And then the star descends down into the horizon, and sets, closing the day. And I say goodbe to the star, and to the day, and still see it there in the sky, an echo of light, of yesterday, fading and dwindling into pinpricks of starlight.
