Thank you Veterans. This statue is part of the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington D.C. It was explained to me as a dedication to the soldiers who lost their lives not in Vietnam, rather from what happened to them over there. They are looking for their names on the Memorial, but can't see them. It will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up when you visit it.

Not the first time I've written a loved one's name that was incarcerated on someone. Hell, not even the first time I did that whilst they face timed each other. That's a thing now, btw... DEFINITELY the first time I wrote someone's name who was locked up on someone whilst they face timed each other and the justice involved individual took a piss while I did it. Awkward.
