Sigyn and Jean Grey interacting. I want to write a thread with a Jean so badly. Sigyn interacting with X men characters would be so interesting. Please I need it. Thanks for coming to my ted talk
The dense canopy filtered the pale sunlight, casting long shadows across the overgrown forest floor. High grass muffled the thud of her fist, which bit deeply into the trunk of an ancient oak. With a sharp, echoing crack, a fresh spray of pale splinters rained down, burying themselves in the moss below. The air smelled richly of damp earth, crushed pine needles, and raw, open wood sap. No paths marked the terrain, and the only sounds were the rhythmic strikes of her fist and the distant call of a startled bird.
Her rhythmic punching came to a sudden halt. Her knuckles, smeared with green sap and flecked with bark, tightened. Footsteps. The canopy above seemed to trap the sound, magnifying each snap of dry kindling in the brush behind her.
This was supposed to be her solace, a place where she could be alone, focus on her training without meaningless conversation or distraction. And now someone, a stranger, had intruded her focus.
"I know you are there."
Her voice was an intoxicating mix of silk and steel. Low, hypnotic, and heavy with an effortless authority that demanded total submission.
"I suggest you come no further."

The universe was so vast and yet by some cosmic coincidence, she had managed to catch the trail of something so utterly familiar. She would recognize these energies anywhere, they were tightly woven into her very own soul. She followed it without hesitation, a small smirk on her face as she was expecting to see the familiar face of one of her siblings.
Or so she had thought.
The voice that spoke to her clearly did not belong to any of her siblings and that alone caused her to pause for a moment. If it wasn’t one of them, how was it possible she was recognizing their energy? It could not be one of their wielders, it always felt different. But who was this woman?
Alma stepped out of the shadows, orange eyes shining bright as she observed the woman. “Is this a threat, child? A poor one, I must say.” There were very few beings in the universe that could actually harm her and this one, she believed, did not belong among them.
She circled her then, getting a little closer. “You feel familiar but you are not. I wonder how that can be. Tell me, what is your name?”
The strangers words rung hollow. It meant nothing to her, that her warning had been ignored. It was for the benefit of the stranger, to warn before attacking. Her anger simmered, as it always did. A burning inside her that bled into her day far too often. Instead of walking towards her or allowing the defiance to continue, she turned to face her. Violet eyes meeting
This was a stranger. And yet, she felt familiar. For the first time in her memory, the fierce, instinctual urge to strike was replaced by a paralyzing numbness. The hand on her sword fell to her side. She could not bring herself to attack. She hesitated. To the Vanir warrior princess, hesitation was a fatal flaw, a weakness she had spent a lifetime beating out of her. She was absolute in her judgment and ruthless in her execution. Yet, she couldn't harm the woman in front of her. And she had no idea why.
There was a haunting resonance in her posture, a ghost of a memory tugging at the edges her mind that she could neither grasp nor name.
The woman circled her, but Sigyn did not raise her hand to her sword again. Not yet.
'What is your name?' Names are heavy things, but for her, they were structural. They were iron rivets driven into her before she was old enough to stand as her own woman in the Norns eyes.
Sigyn had been called many names, each a heavy cloak stitched by the expectations of others. To the frost-bitten, isolated clans of the Jotun, she was Angrboda. The "Bringer of Distress", a title whispered with fear and resentment, casting her as an omen of ruin before she had even learned to steady her own hands. To the Vanir, her adoptive family who cloaked their cold pragmatism in the guise of salvation, she was Sigyn, the "Bringer of Victory." It was a name that stung with the sharp aftermath of a title that was merely a description, a functional label branding her as an accessory to someone else's triumph. To Mephisto, she had been Asmodeus, his son, a weapon of destruction meant to bring his enemies to ruin. Only one person, her sole friend in the vast, indifferent cosmos, had ever looked past what she could do, and rather who she was, to call her Calliope.
And yet, this fractured identity was the only reality she had ever known. She had no memories of a time before the labels, no baseline of what it felt like to simply exist without a burden attached to her.
"I am Sigyn, of Vanaheim. Now..may I ask, who are you?'"
This woman's magic, she could feel it, and she didn't understand why. For years she had carried the absolute certainty that she was a cosmic anomaly. She had thought herself the only entity ever forged from the magic of the stones. Was that what this was? Someone else created by the stones like her?
"...And why does your seidr..call out to mine?"
Actually gonna try to be here tomorrow. And on my multi. I have some oc bios to add to my multi tomorrow too. So, let’s hope my brain works with me and actually lets me get stuff done.
Also, just an fyi yall if I’ve forgotten a thread from my previous multi it’s probs gonna have to be dropped because I can’t remember everything and I’ve already dug through so many old posts between me and my mutuals lol. (That said, I think I have all the main threads in my drafts, and have dmed all or most of the people whose threads I’ve lost and then remembered and want to continue.)
BTW if you want to plot with me or talk oc stuff please reach out to me on my discord or in dms. I’m so bad at reaching out first but I’d love to get closer with my moots and interact and be friends. That’s all byeeee!!
I was just talking to one of my friends and roleplay partners about this last night. The fan kid ocs I have for Loki, they all have unique experiences about their feelings about being his children. (Not out of anything he did, mind you, it’s just their own feelings and insecurities around fitting in)
Narvi, the oldest and only son. He was the first child that Loki and Sigyn adopted. And then he revealed to them he had a little sister, so the two immediately went to adopt her as well. Anyway, Narvi had always admired his mother. He wanted to be just like Sigyn, strong, fearless. And then the accident happened, and his leg was permanently injured. It knocked his already fragile self esteem even further down. The good thing is, that his parents never looked down on him. Loki had a cane commissioned for his son, imbedded with Seider to lessen his pain. The Cane would be used as a weapon by Narvi as he got older.
His insecurities though never truly went away despite his family’s love for him. It blinded him, his feelings of inadequacy. He didn’t understand Asgardian youth his age, and they made no effort to understand him either. To him, I think it felt like an unachievable goalpost that kept rising. He wanted to be understood but there was always that disconnect and feeling like you don’t belong.
Vali didn’t have that as much as her brother. She was the middle child, and unlike most middle child tropes, she was never ignored. She made her presence known with her kindness and enthusiasm. She loved to learn from both her parents, and she shined. She did have a disability, she was born with no hearing. The whole family knew sign language. and taught her from a young age to read lips as well. She had constant support and love from their family as well. She did have some insecurities, but it wasn’t the same as Narvi. Hers was about physical traits. She looks the least like her parents out of her siblings, blonde and blue eyes. On several occasions, people mistook her for Thors daughter and not Lokis (Loki was not happy about that). So, she took it upon herself to change her appearance, despite her families insistence not to do anything. She would use small spells to change her hair color to red, the same as her mother’s. And when that did not satisfy her she got Narvi to help her. The two found a spell that they thought would change her appearance to be exactly like their family. However, Narvi messed up one of the lines in the spell because Vali was insisting he go faster. He turned her into a giant wolf, and she attacked him (his leg being mangled in the process) and she ran away. Eventually they did bring her home, and they were able to find a way to return her to her normal form. After the incident, she stopped feeling that insecurity.
Nyx, the baby of the family. Loki and Sigyns only biological child. Nyx was so important to them. She was born..unique. Due to Lokis shapeshifting and Sigyn being a demon born (technically), she was born with horns, wings and a demon tail. She had a similar insecurity about being apart of the family. Not out of physical traits or standards though, just an overall sense that she didn’t belong on Asgard. The other children avoided her, and in a desperate attempt to fit in among the Asgardians, she cut her own wings off. She hoped that they wouldn’t be so afraid of her anymore. Thor had been the one to find her in a pile of blood. She survived, but she would never be able to get her wings back. When the other children continued to mock her and run from her, she started to copy Lokis behaviors she had seen, manipulating and deceiving to get people to stay at her side. Only after going to earth (Midgard) and making true friends did she ever make positive changes in her life and attitude.
So like there are things about my oc that are non negotiable. Such as her gender identity, and her skin color. Unfortunately, I have had experiences where I’ve been blocked by Loki roleplayers once they see her face claim (Imagine being racist in 2026, but okay). And also, I’ve had experiences where people throw a fit about her being a trans woman, sorry that’s a very very important peice of her character.
Tldr, I’m not changing her sexuality or gender identity for anyone. If you don’t like it then don’t follow me. Easy as that.
Happy pride to one of my beautiful favorite ocs :D
Sig is trans and panromantic demisexual :))
Happy pride everyone :D!!!

Like something so ingrained in me about My Sigyn (Calliope) and Loki and their relationship is that they're relationship does not get rid of their individual issues. Their romance is not a cure all, rather just a loving relationship. They both gain someone to talk to and someone that understands them and can help them through things but it does not fix everything magically. They both can work on those things together but ultimately it is their individual changes to make. TLDR getting into a relationship does not solve all your problems lol.
Adding onto this, Sig tried to push Loki away at the start of everything, and couldn't accept the care and love that he would give her. She didnt see herself as something to love. Frankly, because she didn't see herself as ANYTHING. Her life in her mind is/was expendable, and the Vanir had used her basically as a living weapon/tool. And higher ups would use her to their advantage, often manipulating her down paths that would benefit them. For example, her brother, Idveldi would use her time and time again to gain favor from the Asgardians.
