look at us, so young & naive when this occurred today at approx. 1:43pm!!! this was taken before all of the chaos of today occurred aka @brandon_mag got stung by a sting ray:( so I (not kidding) ran to the lifeguard tower down the beach & then the truck came & he got to go off-roading on the beach (which is really something I’d like to do but I don’t want to have to get stung to do it) & then we had to meet him at the lifeguard headquarters & sit with him while he soaked his foot in hot water for hoooursss but it was fun because we made friends & ate sambazon (at Cardiff State Beach)

somehow even from 1800 miles away I am inspired by the way these three choose to live life as such strong & independent young women. I’m so proud of the way they continually go after what they want in life & choose to better themselves everyday. wishing I could squeeze myself in between that hug right about now. love you my beautiful, once in a lifetime best friends 💛 (at My best friends)

I feel blessed everyday getting to call this charming, cozy city my second home. I love getting to experience all of the seasons (except winter, still working on that one) & exploring all the hidden gems it has to offer, most especially its people!!!💛💛 but still as much as I love it here, I can’t wait to be home in 3 dayssss!!!😋 (at St. Louis)

today I stumbled upon this letter I wrote to myself last semester on a day much less happy than today, thought maybe some of you might like to hear that you aren’t alone in your struggles 🌸🌷

Dear me,

I want you to know that it’s okay. It’s okay to not be okay. But even more than that it’s okay if you don’t know why. Sometimes sadness seeps in without an invitation but that’s nothing to be ashamed of. You are not alone. You are not a burden. You are loved. Even when you can’t see it, please remember that there is light, there is light at the end of the tunnel. No matter how dark it is, always remember, there is light, there is hope, there is love.

today I had a true college breakdown so my dad called me & reminded me of these things: 1. It’s okay to cry and in fact, it’s necessary sometimes. 2. Sleep is important 3. I am loved unconditionally 4. The result of my failures do not reflect inwardly 5. You eat an elephant one bite at a time

I took myself on a date yesterday & this lady asked me to take a picture of her & so I asked her to take one of me too. Her name was Francis. Anyways, life is good & maybe it’s weird, but I like spending time with myself

im so excited to be married. like you just get to be embraced by your best friend every night & have sleepovers & give romantic midnight kisses & sloppy morning breath ones, & even walk around wearing nothing if you want & they remain yours forever, & you’re theirs forever. & the best part is, it’s all mutual & they want you just as much as you want them
