Let me make my position clear on amendment 1

We were given three rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I don't believe that some one or even a state has the right to take away rights that were given to us by our founding fathers. Also our fathers made it extremely clear about the separation of church and state. Bravo people in North Carolina who voted for a1 to pass, you just made me realize why I hate telling people that I live in such a place. A place where discrimination like this is utterly okay and backed up by the notion that because the bible says so its okay. Can't wait to see how this country grows where being close minded is simply OK.
