White House to State Department: If You Don't Like Our Policy, Quit

Last Monday, after push back from various departments, the White House press secretary Sean Spicer said that if State Department career diplomats have a problem with President Donald Trump's foreign policy they should leave the department. When asked about a dissent memo circulating in the State Department he replied, "These career bureaucrats have a problem with it? I think that they should either get with the program or they can go." This is the second display of the Trump Administration's willingness to silence dissenters on Monday, after firing acting Attorney General Sally Yates. The president is not able to fire career diplomats as they are not political appointees.
