santiago waved his hand dismissively, as if the matter was unimportant, “ i will buy you a new one. one with a better roof too. ” he laughed softly. he was already too high for this. “ does that fix it ? will you come spend time with me now ? ” santiago tapped the spot beside him on the couch. flashing her a small smile that meant to be convincing and instead looked profoundly needy. “ it’s just a house. how much is it ? one million ? i waste more on my car a year. ”
a better . . . roof ? almost overcome with the urge to take him to touch some grass , humble him out. instead , she just laughs. a deep one , racks her whole chest. lacks any genuineness though , full of incredulity. “ you’re crazy , ” yet with a sigh , finds herself sitting next to him. “ my house ? one MILLION dollars ? get your head out of your ass , it’s only like 300k. it’s cozy. ” a mislead , overtly stating that it was small and cozy has become the descriptor , so people didn't showcase pity. “ but you’re not buying me a house , that is just . . . silly. ”
