I had some art muse today so I decided why not get to drawing BStar’s Rebellion look, ya?! She has 2 different hairstyles during it, the one on the right is after she befriends a certain gem ( @vigoxous ) and.. gets inspired by her new war buddy. Also yes she has to show off her belly because she loves her tumtum <3

Black Star looked over her shoulder when she heard the familiar nickname. When she saw who it was, the smaller gem bounded over to the colorful gem. She was so relieved that she had gotten her memories back of Bismuth.

“Bissy!”

Skidding to a halt, Black Star stopped in front of her old war companion. What she had first noticed where the large plushies under both her arms. “Oh my gosh! Yes yes please!” The tiny gem squealed in delight, making grabby hands toward the stuffed cat.

Pushing the cat plush from under her arm, she slid it into the smaller gem’s hands. She was happy herself that Black Star had remembered her, even though they hadn’t met under the best circumstances

❝ I’m going to head back for a little bit, wanna join? ❞

She asked, crouching down to be eye level with her old friend, giving her the warmest smile she could muster.

I am just bathing in all the Jasper hate on my dash over on my personal blog. It’s funny how easy people get ticked off, really.

I love her, and I know she’s an absolute asshole, but that’s why I love her. I mean even if she does get a redemption arc at some point, she’s still gonna be the asshole she is. Change doesn’t happen that quickly, dear. Get over it, people like who they like and you can't change that.

“Hm, alright.” She said as she took it and held it up high. She glanced at it, noticing it was well made. She swung it around before attacking the dummy, slicing it. “You did a good job, it’s not useless.”

She shook her head and took the axe back, guess she would have to answer those questions on her own. After another dummy took place of the sliced one, Bismuth got into her fighting stance and swung the weapon skillfully, slicing the dummy to pieces. Afterwards she flipped the weapon in her hand and chuckled, walking back over to place it on the table

❝ That’s how you test out an axe. Now that we’re finished here, now it’s my turn to watch you as you do your job. ❞

It has been a very uneventful day for the colorful gem. All she’s been doing is sitting outside the base just watching to see if any of Homeworld’s gems try to sneak in, so she hasn’t been able to train or do anything she enjoyed all day because of it. It’s not like she was complaining, she had been picked for a reason, but it would’ve been nice to do something she wanted.

Letting out a huff, she leaned against a large rock and crossed her arms, deciding to just stay in one place rather than walk around. She had good hearing, she could hear the footsteps of a homeworld warrior miles away.

Right when she was about to get ‘comfy’ on the rock, she heard the sounds of footsteps approaching from the side of the base. They were heavy footsteps, but weren’t as heavy sounding due to the gem probably trying to sneak, so it was most likely a quartz of some sort. Bismuth let out a sigh and made her way over to where the footsteps where coming from.

❝ Hey! ❞ She yelled while approaching the intruder, a quartz soldier like she had guessed. ❝ I hope you know you shouldn’t be here, and it’d be best if you left. ❞

The large gem said, sounding a bit more excited than she ever was. She held a plushie of some sort of dog under her right arm, and one of a cat under the other arm. The expression on her face was to similar to how a child would look after getting some new toy or something.

❝ I went to that Funland place and won these things, want one? ❞
