“At ease, there’s no one with me, no gems or those ‘green’ creatures you’re referring to.” The female Brit had changed slightly in the 2 years, her voice a bit deeper but still smooth and calm with her British accent remaining... She still wore the same all-black attire of a polo shirt, jeans, combat boots, and field jacket.

The blue gem’s tone was sheepish, defensive, much like her body language was as the orange gem entered her home.

Home…

It was hardly a home.

The house she’d been granted and fact that the quartz had been the one to move into the lazuli’s place… that was just a facade. The options were only two: either the Diamonds wanted to intimidate her and force her to keep her loyalty to Homeworld despite the suffering she had to endure during the war; or she was merely a prize wife, a reward to the Quartz for her military service.

Nothing of that situation was actually a benefit to her, nor could she oppose the will of the Diamonds. Lapis knew that well. So she had to oblige, she had to endure, for her own well being. As much as she despised the situation, she wasn’t looking forward to knowing what disobedience to the Authority would have meant.

“Starting today it will be your place too”, she added, quickly, eyes darting away, looking around the almost completely blue furnished house.

The orange quartz was going to stand out horribly against all that blue hue…

Why Pearl had been chosen to speak to Jasper was beyond her. But, after unbubbling the formerly corrupted gem, and having Steven heal her gem while Garnet and herself held the soldier down, they agreed Pearl should be there when the Quartz woke up.

“Jasper?” The lithe gem spoke softly, her voice on edge. “How are you feeling?”

( @jasperbuffcheetopuff ) After being blasted out of orbit by a route roving eye ship bloody Ruby a commander on homeworld under the service of blue diamond crawls out of the smoking wreckage of her small personal ship Ruby growled in anger lighting up her hand with fire she tossed it at a hole in the beta kindergarten blasting a bigger hole in the cliff and she started to calculate her current situation"ok it seems my ship is not space worthy anymore so I guess I will salvage what pieces I can...lets get to work" Ruby started to pick up large pieces and small pieces laying them useful pile to possibly build a distress beacon to signal homeworld and finished her salvaging by sundown and she decided to take break and look around the beta kindergarten lighting up her gem to see better ""Seems this place must have been the earth beta kindergarten can easily see how flawed it must have been""

“I’m not going to hear it unless you want to apologize,” Garnet said crossing her arms, her face none to happy to see Jasper back. “Or is it a fight you want? If it is, I’ll be sure to pulverize you once again like before.” She stated smashing a hand with her other fist.

She didn’t want to, but she’d take the.... less violent approach first, hopefully, the act of peace would deter the gem from fighting her again.

Riff’s usual stoic mood was starting to break because of the stress caused by this.

“Steven’s been through enough burdens on his psyche, but you refused to accept that and added more to weigh him down with your shattering!”

Tarzan!AU

As much as she’d been thrilled as she’d ever been in her whole life to join that expedition, her big dream sure hadn’t been off with a good start.

First she got separated from the rest of the group, then she’d been attacked and chased by a screaming and hissing flock of baboons and just when she’d thought to be done fore... something had lifted her off the ground and saved her.

She still couldn’t figure out to whom or what the strong arms that had brought her to safety belonged to. She had been to scared to get the immage of her saviour on focus. Assuming that what had swept her off her feet had actually the intention to save her and not something nastier. Of one thing Lapis was sure: she had no intention to stick around to find out. 

The second she felt to be free from the grasp and had her feet steadily on a strong tree branch and the creature turned her attention away from her to chase away the remaining baboos, she fled, climbing down the tree and managing to jump and land on a branch of the next one.

She was out of breath, hyperventilating from the rush of adrenalines, her head pulsating painful and limbs trempling slightly from the effort of the climb, her pretty new blue dress reduced to shreads... not that that would have mattered much since she appered to be lost in a deep jungle, alone with every kind of wild animals on the loose and with no protection. Just as she sighed out and concluded it couldn’t have been worse, it actually started raining.

The young woman closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath and biting her tongue, tasting the bitter irony of her dire situation. When she opened her eyes, her heart lost a beat and her breath was caught in her throat, seeing gleaming amber eyes staring at her from the leaves.
