Making this gif took wayyy longer than I was initially expecting it to be, mostly for motivation reasons. But it was really fun to make, the initial doodle was just going to be a doodle, then I realized that Max's design was exactly what I was looking for last year for a design to animate in this way (^u^ ); body shapes that can easily be broken down while still having enough elements to move without have *too much* to obsess over. I'll admit that I would've wanted the tail to move differently, but I couldn't figure out how to do that apart from redraw it in the way I did the leg, but I was too far in to do that and keep my sanity, haha

So one of my characters may have had a slight costume update lol Silver is a Alchemist Tiefling who runs a potion shop called "The Silver Eye" and participates in local fighting tournaments for pr for his store, he wins every now and then but always puts on an explosive show I decided to give him more of a fighters outfit for better protection, at least for when he's in the arena

A ref for a dnd NPC that I'm using in a campaign, he's an evil little guy that's kinda a gameshow host for people fighting and suffering lmao

And here you can see my process for drawing on Notability Step 1, doodle on paper Step 1.5, take a picture and put it in Notability Step 2, lineart with the pen tool and transfer to an open spot Step 3, color with the highlighter tool, layering different colors to get the achieved final color Step 4, add shadows with the highlighter tool on a dark purple or blue

Found another rough draft of my current sona Viktor. Originally he was gonna be used for more animation stuff so I oversimplified him into a sketch. He's fun to doodle still, we'll see what happens
