Gracias a todas las personas que me han ayudado con este programa. Regresé a los EEUU pero nunca voy a olvidar mi experiencia en Chile durante estas seis semanas. ¡¡¡Gracias, Gracias, Gracias!!!
These are some photos of me with friends. Me with Makayla, Dana, Iona, and Sophia. We had a lot of fun in the Serena while we were rooming together Friday through Sunday (7/7-9/17).
These are some photos of me in some of the places we visited: the beach in the Serena, the observatory that was really high up where we saw the mountains, the beach in la Isla Negra, the japonese garden.
This is the cup or vase or something that I made with the greda. Nathaniel, Makayla, and I were the only people that managed to make something and it was really fun and I want to do it again.
We also went to Pomaire last Friday (7/14/17) which was really great and my second favorite, if not my favorite, excursion. The guide was really nice and I understood everything she said. The town is small, but it´s really cool because their main attraction is greda which is like clay, but the texture is very different. I loved their town, I don´t know why, but I loved it a lot.
These are some photos from la Isla Negra last Friday (7/14/17) and we visited the house of Pablo Neruda. I don´t like Pablo Neruda, as a person or a poet, very much from what I´ve learned about him, but a lot of the other students like him and it was really pretty and the beach was amazing.
Another video of ducks from the japanese garden...
A video of ducks from the japanese garden
This is a video of the mural we painted
We painted a mural in Valparaíso the other day (7/13/17) which was really fun because there are A LOT of murals in Valparaíso.
...more photos of the japonese garden because it was really pretty...
These are some more photos of the japonese garden Sunday (7/9/17)
Sunday (7/9/17) we went to a Japonese garden which was really pretty.
This is a photo of Jupiter through a telescope. The guide asked for a camera that was small and I gave him mine and he took a picture of Jupiter which was really cool.
These are some photos from the second observatory we went to which was the same day as the first, but this one was, obviously, at night. I liked this one more than the first and the view was really cool.
These are some photos from inside the observatory which was really cool, but also was difficult to understand at times because there was a lot of outside noise and it was difficult vocabulary and in spanish, but I understood enough in order to get the gist of what the guide was saying.
These are some photos from the top after we arrived at the observatory.
