If Vincent has been bouncing around in the woods his entire life, I could see Lia maybe running into him one day when they were much younger (the smaller they are, the cuter it is). Maybe he was really hungry at that point or desperate for help and she gave it to him without asking questions about how he got to be this way. And then like stray animals learn to come back to sources of food, Vincent would wander around the place where he first met Lia and overtime they made an agreement that she would give him leftover bread and such in exchange for something (idk maybe just COMPANY or he taught her how to use a knife or s/t). And that relationship has continued up until this day and Marsilia still has no idea that Lia has been giving away some of their product for free oops. Thoughts?

Ok, so Vince hasn’t known much kindness in his life at all (s/o to his dad who tried to murder his infant brother just for existing), so this act of kindness would make a HUGE impression on him, even if it had been a one-time occurence, but esp with it continuing, it’s probs one of the few actual stable, on-going relationships he’s ever had. I think he’d be v loyal towards her and want to repay her, somehow, but lol he literally lives in the woods???? So pr safe to say it’s not gonna happen any time soon. (And ngl there’s probs a pr good chance he’s got a thing for her. But I’m sure he’s never said anything and has never bought a night with her or anything like that.)
And yes! Honestly, just company would do him worlds of good. And I love the idea of him teaching her things!!! And he’d be only too happy to do it. Not to mention, he knows the importance of self-defense (another s/o to dear ol’ dad) and of survival skillz, obv hahahah Since they’ve known each other that long, she may also be the only person who knows who he really is. Do you think she’d keep that to herself? Esp when there’s a warrant out for his arrest and, no doubt, a substantial reward? Either way, I can def see him telling her, one day, when they were kids hahahah and yeah.

It’s too bad that Ana doesn’t know who Vince really is, b/c otherwise they could share “b/c of my parents I had to spend a good chunk of my life in the wilderness” stories. ;D Also the “younger siblings are the greatest thing on the planet and should be protected at all costs” stories. ;D
Anyway, Ana is infinitely more welcoming than Rob. (She probably actually takes Vince aside and tells him to just ignore like everything Rob says — although it sounds like Vince is gonna make that pretty clear that those are his intentions. I feel like Ana never really got on w/ Rob AT ALL and basically only tolerates him b/c he’s Cris’ bro and probs has kinda a bad feeling about him (HAHAHA). Also I feel like Rob at first thought that he could use Ana to make Brigette jealous (b/c using a chick who has been living in the wilderness would DEF make Brigette jealous, especially since her man is Rob) and that having lived on her own for so long she’d be thankful for any man and she was like LOL no and she’s just one more person who has chosen Rob’s bros over him and tbh he probs doesn’t need much convincing when Dezoód is like, I want Ana’s heart)
OKAY so wow sidetracked a little there, but yeah. Also Ana will def not mind Vince’s lack of ppl skills haha. HAHAHAHAHA OMG their incredible honesty with each other is actually beautiful - I mean minus that one little lie 0.o But yeah, Vince has been lying so long about who he really is, I feel like he's gotten pr good at it and doesn't really think about it. i feel like he tries to keep his backstory as truthful as he can bc that's usually best for ever reason. So yeah, I think it's basically that his family was hella poor so they took to the woods bc they thought they could afford to live there and evade taxes but they ended up dying off, one by one, instead and yeah. Vince never tried to live in public. And I think he identifies himself as that same woodsman who occasionally comes out of the forest to sell some food for a little coin and yeah. And they can exchange stories about extreme living ;DDDDDD

Enough coin could buy any man’s silence for as long as it took for a higher bidder to come about, but threats were always stronger than gold. Where others bought their loyalties, Dmitrei tied his closest servants to him by the fear of what was to come should they cross him. Still, even his most trusted guards did not know the true identity of the man they had smuggled up from the south and now were heavily guarding in his dungeons.
Vincent had been in the dark cell for fifteen hours before Massard could spare the time to visit him. It was night when he finally went to him. There were several guards in front of his cell and Vincent was heavily chained inside. With a wave of his hand, Dmitrei dismissed the guards.
He stepped into the light and caught his first good look at his cousin and smiled, “You look like your father.”
He'd caught a buck, that morning. It was huge: easily an eighteen pointer. Having gutted and cleaned it, he'd slung it over his back and headed onto Alainon land to sell the venison - and hopefully gain some knowledge of Lord Alainon: his brother. By all rights, Vince should be Lord Alainon by this time but that hardly mattered to him, now. Given that he'd been living in the forest alone since age six, he didn't feel particularly well qualified for the position. Rather, he was sorry to have been cheated of his family, of any hint of a real life.
It heartened him, on those rare occasions when some news might float across town of Petyr, and on those still rarer occasions when he caught sight of him. A more bitter part of himself sometimes reflected that he'd in essence sacrificed his entire life for a man who wouldn't even recognize him, should their eyes meet. Still, he regretted nothing.
Wading through town, his catch nodding obscenely with every motion, he'd swung the creature over his shoulder and onto a table to be weighed and sorted when he'd felt a sharp, white hot pain to the back of his head. Exploding bubbles in bizarre colors speckled his vision as darkness crept from every corner to fill it. From far away, he'd heard shouts and felt something hauling him from the shoulders...and then there was nothing.
The next thing he knew, he was being jostled and lugged by something. His body was sluggish and it felt as if it were somehow very far away from himself. The squeal of wheels and the sounds of a forest quieted by the movements of men whirled about him. In vain, he struggled to get his eyes open. His heart pounded as confusion and pain dulled his brain and he worked to force his lids apart. Finally, light streamed in and he blinked and shied away from it, bringing up one arm, sluggishly, to shield eyes from the glare.
A canopy of metal and wood shielded him. Blinking, he whiped at his face with what he found were gloved hands. Pulling them away, he rolled over onto his stomach to push himself up and looked warily around. A door was slamming. "Stop!" Vince staggered to his feet, realizing belatedly that he'd been drug on his back through the forest - judging by what meager recollections he had and the state of his cloak - and from thence into this dank cell. Grasping the bar with one hand, he leaned against it and, passed a hand before his face.
It was the beginning of what was to be a very long night. No light reached the den, save a greasy torch on the opposite wall and Vince was left alone, with nothing save a pile of straw and a bucket in the corner. Vince's heart lurched. At last, he reflected. They've recognized me. At last, they mean to put me to the sword.
Deep down, he'd known this would surely be his fate. He'd been avoiding it as long as any man could be expected to do, but now they'd come for him. He wondered if he might be permitted a final word to his brother, at least, but there was no one around with whom he might make even that most feeble of requests.
Vince's head was splitting. A part of him almost wished that his one meager light might be suffocated as it seemed to bore through his eyes. He felt hollow and insubstantial and, sinking into the straw, contented himself to wait.
Apparently wishing to leave him to stew in his own juices, Vince was stirred only when, what must have been a full day later, hinges creaked and a figure filed in, blocking what little light flowed in with his body. Vince narrowed his eyes at he gazed at the silhouette, trying to make out any hint of features, but all he could see was a minor reflection where his eyes must be.
The words felt like a brand, searing against his skin and biting into his marrow. "My father?" he responded, brow contorting. Where the stranger's voice held only the hints of an accent, Vince's voice was husky with it. Still, he felt sure they were both sons of the South. Who else would know his father? "What is it you think you know of him?"

So, I think this could be kinda interesting, b/c Ric might get this weird feeling about Vince, but isn’t sure what to make of it??? Like, I think b/c Vince has good intentions, but ultimately might end up murdering his dad will basically send confusing ~vibes Ric’s way and he’s basically like wtf is with this guy??? and idk, I feel like he’d generally be on his guard and not really trusting him, but at the same time he realizes that he doesn’t have any proof/real reason not to but yeahhh.
That's actually great bc for once it's the ~good vibes that're throwing Ric off whereas in Vince's experience it's always the bad ones that turn ppl away and basically this could be srs fun!!!!! :3 HAHAHAH and Vince like "I'm trying v hard to make connections but this is really throwing me off my groove" ;DDDD It's sad tho bc I think there's a part of Vince that'd wanna look out for Ric, bc here he is this young boy in the middle of this madness , shunted off and alone and Vince is like BIGSADFACE bc he thinks of how Petyr grew up alone (also so did Vince so basically he's like #ouch) But he's used to being pushed away, so he'd take it ok. do you think Ric'd mention his misgivings to his father or anyone btw?

HAHAHAHA he'll be like, "Wow, I have literally never heard anyone in my life talk as much as you...Not that I live in the woods like a fugitive or anything..." Jk, jk Actually, I think he'll mostly just kinda take it in stride tho some of her questions might get weird reactions bc he's like, "Literally I've only ever lived in a castle or in the woods. There is no middle ground." But he's pretending he's ~not Vince Alainon so he's like, "...Obv I know what you're talking about. HAHAHAH, Vince will like never have an actual family b/c Petyr thinks he wants to kill him and Dmitrei doesn’t care if it he dies (I mean, after he’s finished being useful ofc). Vince honestly has the best life. 10/10 are jealous.
I feel like that was actually fairly recently b/c I think that Vince is super new to the resistance, so that could potentially even be a scene we RP out if you want?? Especially since that’s probs more interesting than their future interactions which will probs just be letters for a while. ;D
