"I guess, you would say that I am more of an on-looker, than anything."
"You're not saying what I think you are, right? Putting it down bluntly... dead."
"Oh, I tend to keep to myself and out of the way from the chaos here."
"Patient or one of the staff people, or are you a volunteer?"
"I uh—yeah I suppose I am. Funny, I thought I was a lot more slick than that…I guess not. You’re not going to have me thrown out, are you?"
"I call it observing and taking notes... But no I won't call security on you, but you have to stick around and be my apprentice for the day if you don't want me to have you thrown out."
"Trust me, I wouldn’t want to do such a thing, myself. Other’s minds work in mysterious ways."
"Honestly who would want to come here... But to be honest this is the first time I've seen you around here."
"That’s a hell of an insight." He chuckled, half-heartedly. "L.A. Private Regional Hospital is number one in the state though, which is baffling to me because I don’t think any of the patients here have gotten better. Uh—no offense. You are one of the workers, right? I see you a lot."
"Number one in the state... Well throw me with crazy juice... None taken... One of the doctors, uhm.. Aren't you that kid that always sneaks around the security to get in here?"
"I guess the curiosity of this place and it’s history is enough to make everyone want to keep pouring in the way that they do." Vivien shrugged.
"I know I wouldn't want to just pour into here, if I knew about what really goes on around here."
"What do you expect from a place that’s had more heartbreak and blood-shed than a hospital operating room."
"I expected the people to stop pouring in, because of exactly that reason"
"It’s getting ridiculously crowded, actually.”
"Patients just keep pouring in, like we are the only mental hospital in the country."
"Is it just me or is this place getting a little crowded?"
“I don’t feel strong though, Vince. I feel incredibly weak. This place is making me that way. It’s breaking my spirit or whatever. I don’t feel like I am getting any better.”
"I'm sorry you feel like this Piper, is there anything I can do to make you feel better?"
"Sure. Just lie down on the couch…"
Vincent lay down on the couch. He settled in, he hoped that Collin could really help with his back aches.
“I don’t know. I feel like I am seconds away from just loosing it. I guess all I can say is that this place is starting to get to me. I can’t do it any more.”
"Oh come on Piper you can do it... I'm right here with you. You're stronger than you think you are. I mean look how far you came in this place so far."
The frown that had appeared across the man’s features was hard to not notice. It suddenly became apparent that the question must have upset him but she had to ask; what if he were a ghost? Taking a small step back, still a bit paranoid by his sudden appearance Venice tried to force the fear from her features. If we was in fact a doctor at this facility then he might give word to the psychiatrist about what they may think is an episode. “I’m not crazy.” She muttered under her breath; frustrated at the thought of the new diagnosis. As he held out the i.d, she carefully took it. “This is all the proof that I need.” She said as she read over the entire card. “Thank you.” her tone had signaled the fact that she was a bit calmer.
Vincent couldn't think of any reason why she would be so on edge. Oh wait maybe one of the ghosts scared her... Oh wait she's new here isn't she? So maybe that's why... She has a hard time accepting that there are ghosts in here as well... It's became like a second nature to Vincent by now. When she said she isn't crazy he just smiled. "I know..." He then reached out again and took the card back from her. When she said her thanks he took a small step closer to her just to test the waters. "Are you alright though? I didn't get your name."
“I can’t take this place for one more second. This so called “hospital” has drained the life out of me, I thought it was supposed to do the opposite.”
"Piper? Are you alright? You want to talk about it? I'm right here for you if you need me."
Staring into the darkness, she stood there patiently waiting to see if anyone were there. Lately, Venice had been feeling paranoid so part of her had expected it to be just that - her imagining things. As someone had stepped into the light; she nearly jumped. “Are you real?” She asked in a confused tone. Despite the claim of being one of the doctor’s it was still difficult to trust his words. Ghosts who inhabit the house seem to be the type to lie, at least that’s what she assumed from movies. “Do you have proof of being who you say you are?” She finally managed to ask. The question was ridiculous but it never hurt to be careful.
Vincent took a little step closer to her seeing that she was utterly freaked out by his sudden presence. He frowned a little when she asked if he was real. Of course, she was probably thinking that he is a ghost or something. He smiled reassuringly at her. "I am real, I promise." When she asked for proof he didn't know what to show her, but then he remember his employee ID card, so he took it out of his wallet and carefully held it out to her so that she can take it. "There is some proof, the other is that my office is just down stairs"
Well if you wanted I could help you with that? I’ve been known to have magic fingers…
{✚ }—You would? Please. I would be forever grateful.
You might have a great idea there… I could use one myself. My day’s been good enough, though I’m happy it’s over and I get to hang out with you.
{✚ }—I've had this kink in my neck for the past week now and every time when I wanna get a massage work simply takes up all my time. Didn't have any ghost problems?
