Vincent Frames collaborative t-shirt with riding apparel brand MORVELO
Vincent Frames are excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with the rad guys at Morvelo Bicycle Apparel to produce a T-shirt just for you!
For me, this epitomises Vincent Frames in one picture – the bike, the quarter pipe, the location, the '80s, the brand.
Here, Adam Dudley, one of the original Freestyle Team members, kills it on the tow-able quarter pipe riding his VF Freestyler MK2 at a demo in Saltdean, Brighton - just a stone's throw away from the Vincent Frames Workshop where the frames & quarter pipes were famously hand-built by Bernie Vincent & Paul Hudson.
Morvelo have worked their magic yet again (you need to check out their other tees) and we are chuffed and honoured to have created something so exclusive with them.
If you don’t know about Morvelo then you’re missing out...
“We're not a Road brand. We're not an MTB brand. We're a cycling brand. We ride all types of bikes. Our designs combine bike culture with pop culture, exploring themes that run through the cycling world and combining them with the wider influence of sport, art, music, fashion and film to create products that are not only highly technical and performance driven but also visually unique.”
These beauties are of course available to buy from their website NOW.
Perfect Christmas present for any rad BMXer if you ask me ;-)
AMAZING VINCENT PRO RESTORATION!
BITD pro rider Melanie Vauvelle used to race on a Vincent Frames Pro – she recently put her Pro up for sale and it went for a whopping £1000!
The buyer wanted to keep it as a survivor however due to the amount of pitting in the frame he had no choice but to restore in order to ensure the life span of the frame as it would have only continued to decay and get worse.
The only option was to re-chrome and he was gutted about this but I'm sure you'll agree that the re-chrome is out of this world, as is the build!! He's certainly spent time getting info from Mel about the parts and he’s spent some dollar on this one to bring it back to life.
In my humble opinion he's totally done it justice! Love it.

NEW WEBSITE COMING SOON!
I’ve been hunched over my laptop for months now working on the new Vincent Frames website to bring you more of the story, more history and more news - hoping to have something to show you all early next year!
Check us out on Instagram!
Come give us a follow on Instagram for loads of old school images, pics from my family album and more!
I met an awesome guy on Saturday called Derek at the Brighton Riders BMX get together who made himself and his family's BMX's really cool stands.
I asked him if he'd make me one with just a logo as I usually lean it up against the wall (shhh don't tell anyone!) so was utterly BLOWN AWAY when I picked this up...never in my wildest dreams did I think he'd actually make a replica VF Freestyler!!!!!
He's a very talented guy and I'll be forever grateful, thank you Derek!
p.s. he’s taking orders, so get in touch on [email protected] if you want his deets!
Vincent Frames AIRZONE
A few years ago a guy called Joe got in touch as he found this old Airzone in a bush. Yes a bush.
He’s been slowly restoring it and sent me an updated pic this week since he’s has it shot blasted and resprayed.
I’m loving the red frame and can’t wait to see it all built up!
Vincent Frames Airzone - 'survivor'
Having bought this Arizone directly from VF in 1986, it’s taken Jonathan Smith 20 years of promising to ‘do it up’ to actually ‘doing it up!’ - he's added new tyres, chain & grips.
He saved up from two after school jobs to get his hands on it, although he had to send the first one back as is cracked when the shop put the crank in...ha! He rode everyday until he discovered cars & girls but took it with him on his adventures through life from London to Birmingham and beyond.
It's a very nice 'Pepi' replica if you ask me and I absolutely love the pic of Jonathan riding it! RAD!
ROCK HUDSON ROCKING IT!
Brilliant little hub over on Instagram called ukbmxhistory featured the old boy Paul Hudson riding his Vincent Frames Freestyler in '85 in all his VF get up (which he can still get into!)
Loads of likes on this, love it!
VINCENT FRAMES FREESTYLER - MK 2 - SOLD FOR £1K
That's right, £1k!!
If you ask me I think that's a bit of a bargain given that it's in mint condition (been sat in a loft all these years) and that a rusty Vincent Frames Airzone went for £900 odd quid a while back. This is rare as rocking horse shit and the only mark 2 that's come up on four years of searching and people finding me.
It's gone to a great home, Denzil now has a Vincent Frames Freestyler Mark 1 and 2 alongside his Vincent Frames Airzone. He has more than me!
Looking forward to having the the original mark two side by side against the one the boys and I built....to see how wrong (or right!) we got it!
VINCENT FRAMES AIRZONE
i stumbled across this pic of a black Vincent Frames Airzone, a colour scheme I'd not seem before and actually really like.
What I REALLY love about this though is that @steves1974 swapped a pack of 10 Benson and Hedges & 2 Diamond Whites for it!! Hahaha!!
RESTORED: VINCENT FRAMES FREESTYLER - MK1
Ohhhhh Callum Lindsay has done a lovely resto job on a MK1 VINCENT FRAMES FREESTYLER.
It’s a beaut I have to say!
VINCENT FRAMES AIRZONE - UPDATE
John Gepp got in touch a while ago as he found his 22 year old Vincent Frames Airzone in the loft and was going to restore her.
She's coming along nicely indeed - just got to wait 4 weeks for the paint to dry and then John will start the build with a mash of of 80's parts.
Looking forward to seeing her all finished!
VINCENT FRAMES AIRZONE - SOLD ON EBAY FOR £901
Woah - this Vincent Frames Airzone went on eBay for just over £900!! Incredible!! Not a bad mark up, given they were £85 for a F&F or chrome set BITD.
This bike belonged to the sellers brother and been stored in a barn since about 1990. He had it from new in 1984 and apparently he just had to have a Vincent!
The guys who have bought the Airzone are planning to restore it to its former glory and have promised to keep us updated. I look forward to seeing it progress....still can't believe it went for £900....
RESTORED: VINCENT FRAMES AIRZONE
Just realised I never posted this little beauty - how could I have not! Steve Fitz restored the Vincent Frames Airzone he had when he was 15 to it's former glory.
I think it's a corker - first Airzone I've seen in red!
Awesome pic of him riding it BITD too!
FOUND: VINCENT FRAMES AIRZONE
John Gepp got in touch this week with a Vincent Frames Airzone. He bought it off his cousin (BMX Beat rider Jason Cook) 22 years ago when he was 14. Jason had to give up riding due to a nasty fall doing a new trick but said that this was the best frame he rode and was impossible to beat, which is nice to hear!
John's had it in loft ever since and is planning to restore her - he's going to keep us posted.
Another great find!
RADBMX's MK13 - ANOTHER GREAT WEEKEND!
The VF team had another great weekend of chatting, riding, laughing, falling off their bikes, eating a ridiculous amount of sausages and drinking lots...andjeez it was windy up there on the Saturday night - I had to sleep in my bloody car!
Paul Hudson and Adam Dudley took to a Vincent Frames Airzone and Freestyler and attempted some flatland....they've still got it....well, just!
Congrats also to Adam for placing 2nd in the B Final of the racing....second year in a row for him. Paul Hudson needs to man up and ride next year otherwise he's off the team ;-)
Big thanks go to the boys from RAD who year on year, put on a great weekend - you guys rock! It's always nice to catch up with old peeps and meet new ones so great to see you all again - looking forward to MK14 already!
For more pics from the weekend check out the facebook page.
