He was fond of his powers and had no intention of losing them. Or his life. “You were gone for a couple of centuries. A lot of things could have happened.” He added with a smirk. “Fair enough. Her curiosity piqued when he said that he might even know things she isn’t aware of, which confused her for a moment considering the fact that no one knew her kind better than she—and, of course, the others. “Is that so? Then, please, do enlighten me. I’d love to hear what you think you know,” she chuckled with a smirk. During this entire conversation, Belle had been taking precautions, learning about her surroundings, and things she could use against him. That tree branch looked useful.

“Why should I bother enlightening you, when you seem so confident in your own knowledge? Besides, I know better than to give my enemy information that might aide them.” He mused as he watched her eyes drift all around them. “Care to explain why you’re finding our surroundings so interesting? Should I feel threatened?”

Evan nodded his head, answering Vincent’s question without actually speaking. “And there is no possible way we could kill them? Instead of a prison world this time, we could try to rid the world or any universe from ever having to deal with them.” He watched the other man’s reaction closely, wondering how he would feel. “I’m not leaving here until we find a way to get rid of those miserable bastards.”

“I have tried to find a way to kill them, but it does not appear there is such a thing that will do the trick. Unfortunately, it would seem that we have no choice, but to return them to their prison. However, this time we will make sure that they can never escape.” He vowed.

“You are more powerful than you realize. Why do you think I have such faith in you?” Vincent asked, shooting her a kind smile. He had always felt a fondness towards the witch, probably because she was one of his best. “You won’t let me down, you never have.”
