For those seconds, she could have sworn he was going to be her first, but Jenny knew better, she couldn’t. He had helped her and she knew that if she started she would never stop. Evan focused on her, and for a second s=he thought she’d give into her desire. He wondered how hard that must be for her. “I’m sorry this happened to you Jenny, and I am not a vampire’s biggest fan but I hope you make the decision that is best for you..” He spoke sincerely, “I will do my best to use it for good, I promise you.”

Evan groaned, not expected an advance so soon. He would have rather done this much later, he wanted to know how to get rid of this bitch first. “Find.Someone.Else.” He spoke through clenched teeth, using his power to shoot a bolt of pain up the arm she had on his neck. “Are you all such a pain in the ass?”

“Oh, you needn’t worry. I can just as easily find another meal,” she smirked, showing off her sharp fangs and dark veins before lunging at the man, unaware of the fact that he is a witch. Her fangs were aimed at his jugular to get the most blood in the smallest amount of time.

Evan remained calm during the entire ordeal, having been attacked by a vampire more than once in his lifetime. “Oh no, it can’t quite possibly be me.” He channeled his powers, throwing the vampire into the air and watching her land a few feet ahead. “I don’t really feel like being a bloodsuckers next meal, forgive me.”

The second Evan started to smile at him, Josh felt a weight being lifted off his shoulders. “Neither did I. Evan sat there with a dorky smile, listening to his friend speak. Glancing over at the direction Josh was staring at, he shook his head with laughter. He had always been okay with Josh’s choice of companionship, so he thought why the hell not, there was no harm in trying. “Ill be right back lover boy.” Getting up, Josh kept his cool persona, walking up to the man who stood at the pool table. “Hey, so I have a friend who seems to be interested in you, they’d like your number.” Evan pointed out Josh casually, in a matter of seconds, he was back in front of Josh with a piece of paper in his hands, “I think he was kind of hoping it was me, but I got you.” He joked, laughing.

Josh had been sat in the empty bar for almost an hour now, leaving himself to his thoughts. He was filled with regret from the nights before which for a club kid like Josh, he was used to as a human but as a vampire, the regret was heightened and he didn’t like it one bit. He did a lot of things but what went down with him and Evan was excusable and the guilt was bringing Josh’s regular high spirits down. He only now got the bartender to get him a drink and looks at the ground. His eyes slowly turning to the male who was now sitting with him. The guilt only got worse the second he realizes it was Evan. He wanted to say something but he couldn’t and even when he did, the words were in the wrong order. “Sorry I..Evan” He froze yet again. He takes a sip of his drink. “I’m so so sorry, Evan. I completely understand if you like want to make me self combust or something…”

Evan took the seat next to Josh, having been looking for the young man for hours now. He didn’t hate Josh, and he wasn’t going to pay for something that Evan was almost sure he did not really want to do. Placing an order for a drink, he turned to look at him. “Calm down dude, no hard feelings.” He smiled, “We were both very shitty people at the moment and it was all unintentional.” Evan shrugged, nodding at the bartender who placed his drink in front of him. “Seriously Josh, stop looking at me like that. No hard feelings, I’m not about cause you any pain, its all okay.”

“Do you?” Vincent questioned, not really believing that Evan actually felt that way when it came to the other members of the coven. “They draw their power from their vampirism. Something that has never been done before. If we don’t stop them soon, they will only grow more powerful. Especially since there are many supernaturals in this town.”

Evan nodded his head, answering Vincent’s question without actually speaking. “And there is no possible way we could kill them? Instead of a prison world this time, we could try to rid the world or any universe from ever having to deal with them.” He watched the other man’s reaction closely, wondering how he would feel. “I’m not leaving here until we find a way to get rid of those miserable bastards.”

Just as she was about to attack her prey, Katherine heard the footsteps of a witch. Turning around, the vampire stared at him as she rolled her eyes. “What?!” she snapped. Her mood darkened once the poor little human ran away. “Are you kidding me?”

Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she saw the witch she attacked a couple nights ago approach her. “What do you want? Payback?” she asked with an amused smile.

“You save my ass? No, I think it might the other way around. I mean I’m all for girl power, but come on Stas.” He nudged her back gently, knowing very well she was tough. “I would say this old bloke is doing just fine, I adjust well. How are you? What’s happened since I last saw you?”

“I have seen so many crazy things so far and I haven’t been in this place for more than 24 hours.” Turning her head to look beside her at the person that was standing there. “Am I going to totally regret shacking up here?” She wondered biting the inside of her cheek nervously.

Evan had approached the girl, feeling the pull of magic. “You might, but who knows maybe you’ll do some good to this place.” He shrugged, recognizing the girl in front of him.

“They will come eventually, if they know what is good for them. I would hate to go fetch them from New Orleans.” Vincent muttered, not pleased with his coven at the moment. “Of course it was. Somehow, they found a way out of their prison and decided to celebrate. Anyone who wishes for the world to be safe and balanced should be willing to help us.”

“Let us hope that it wont come to that, I have faith they will find their way here on their own.” Evan admitted, knowing how displeasing this must be. “I saw the horrors of that night, how could they bring that upon this town? How much power do they obtain? I hope you’re right, because there’s two of us and how ever many of them. We’re powerful, but we shouldn’t get cocky.”

“Well I never thought I’d have to figure out how to get through something like this so..If letting it eat me alive is what I deserve then, so be it” she frowned with a small shrug. “Yeah, that’s right.” Maddie nodded, smiling more at his words. “That’s really nice… You’re probably one of the very few people in this town with that attitude.”

Maddie breathed out a sigh of relief, giving him a small nod. “I know.. I know people are saying everyone lost it.. But it doesn’t make me feel any less horrid, you know?” she shrugged apologetically. “… Thanks. For.. trying to help me that night.. I mean, you don’t even know me so.. yeah, thank you. Evan, wasn’t it?”

Evan smiled, nodding his head. “As a matter of fact I do know, and if you don’t find a way to work through that feeling its going to eat you alive.” He spoke truthfully. “Yes, you’re Maddie, correct? I always try to help those who need it, you seemed hysterical, I just wanted you to know you weren’t alone.”
