My first video portrait, and more to follow.

So I made a rap video. It's definitely on the experimental side. For this one I really wanted to focus on lots of close ups as well free flowing object to contrast both elements of confinement and sexual freedom. The editing was probably the most technical as I was trying to sync in visuals with the beat. Needless to say I'm quite please with the result. It's a bit NSFW. Thanks for watching.

there is nothing so wonderful as a native tongue- you pouring neruda in my ears, the spanish tonal and thick, and perhaps the fact that the meaning escapes me makes the experience all the more vital; there’s beauty in language, how the sound wraps itself around our bones. you could be saying the dirtiest things, but that cannot soil the purity of you sharing the words of your home.

Just received my judo gi in the mail and I couldn’t be more than excited to not only learn the physical components of this art, but also the tao and philosophy that follows with it. It’s the philosophy of this art art that I look more forward to, providing spiritual growth and sense of purpose in my daily life. “Softness overcomes hardness” as sensei once told me.

It’s been awhile, but I’ve finally had the chance to filmed and produced a video that I am quite pleased. This piece explores a darker side of me. It’s definitely different from all my other works, but after seeing people’s responses… I think I might be leaning towards this genre for awhile.

Day 61 |The Spaces Between Words| There are days when I miss the dawning years as an English major undergrad, and today is certainly one of them. The symbiote between man|book is a phenomenon in its own. With fingers interlace between her spine and nose breathes in the aroma of that coffee spilled binding, the two of you dance and tiptoed between the crumpled pages. "Where should we venture today?" She asked. "Perhaps, hitchhike a ride with Kerouac? Seek solitude in the wilderness with Thoreau? Free the sheeples from the constraint of the Thought Police in an Orwellian society? Or be still and indulge by the delicious platter of Nabokov's alliteration and literally magic?" "Anywhere. Everywhere. " I nodded. It doesn't matter where we go as long as we tread slowly, savoring the start of each words and anticipating the next. So, Iet us get lost in the silence between these words.
