A spy thriller about a planet that has some T'au integration but not enough to be fully in the empire. The main characters are: a Shas of a security cadre who discovers that weapons are being funneled to anti-xenos extremists and a hive ganger who was left for dead in a arms deal gone wrong who have to work together to uncover the wider conspiracy

Now that I have had some time separate from the initial hype of week to week episodes of Gundam Gquuuuux I have to say I would have really liked it to have either been a story about Machu and Nyan or a story about Challia and Char. As it sits rn I feel like it doesn't have the time to do both plotlines and the pace does not help at all.

I love the little moments of domesticity in Warhammer novels. Ahriman making wine, Fio'La Ke stealing food, the reminiscing of Night Lords on their childhood with bitter but rose tinted glasses. Its all so wonderful. Oh what I would do for more

And its more than just Warhammer. The washing of clothes in Gundam. The way that Delicious in Dungeon is focused almost entirely on the preparation and enjoyment of food with company. The little moments of transformers just looking at the world from stories high views.

What a wonderful look into what others consider not just normal or necessary but important. Every detail gives personality and charm to individual characters but not just that. It makes you feel not alone in the monotonous tasks often overlooked of every day life
