It’s (Still) An Emergency

Money’s slowed down but the situation is the same. Me and my family (four people in all) are homeless. Currently we’re living in one, small room of an already large family’s (seven people) small house. We’re constantly having to juggle between saving money for a home/getting food/necessities for my brother’s school. We’ve tried to get help from several shelters, but no one’s called back, given us any help so far. 

We’re pretty much out of our YouCaring money after spending it all on inns/extended stays just to have a place to sleep. There’s less than a hundred in the bank account. It’s a dire situation. Any amount of help would be amazing.

                  he’s sure that the other was not doing well with mat’s metaphorical cold shoulder. but he knows that it can only get worse. with the way that he knows the other worries. the jealousy and anger that sits heavy on alcohol swollen tongue. the love that mat knows he has for him heavy in that caged heart. mat’s resolve wavers, when he hears that rusty voice catch. he knows that if he were to check the rest of his messages ( 48 remain, the first 5 were from his mother and rosa’s sister. he knows the rest are from robert. ) that he will find similar messages, some absolutely undiscernable because of sobs and others just silence, anger, and sadness.

                   he doesn’t call back, instead he deletes them all. instead he turns the record he’s listening to up -- take a deep drag from the blunt he’s been nursing. thank god carmensita was off with her mother’s family -- she didn’t need to see her dad cry.
