Originally I was gonna make her and Hollyleaf look exactly the same color wise, but I couldn’t completely commit to it. I wanted Leafpool to be unique while still looking similar and I hope that shows.

#Fallen leaves #wc art #wc #warrior cats #warrior cats fanart #fanart #Couldn’t decide on color so take 3 slightly different versions #Originally the bottom of his skull was a more cream color but there’s no light down there to sun bleach them #So his skeleton is more gray 👍#I wanted it to look like his fur is falling off #I imagine over the years Fallen Leaves would visit his corpse to remind himself what he looked like #And over time floods and decomp took their toll on his remains #since it’s pretty dark down there he couldn’t see how bright his fur was on his corpse #OH RIGHT I ALMOST FORGOT #Remember that one tunnel flood with the apprentices and the runaway kits?#During that his skeleton was finally pushed out of the tunnels #So when he inevitably goes to check on it it’s gone forever 😀#By the time Hollyleaf enters the tunnels again he’s probably very abstract in design and see through

The last time I read Warrior Cats I was like, 11, and I stopped after The Apprentice Quest. I know I need to reread those books again so I can refresh my memory and develop a true opinion on characters, but honestly? I do not have the energy for it anymore.
