I just read your analysis on dazai atsushi and aktugawa and I absolutely loved it.
Especially the way you talk about dazai bc while yes dazai isn't a good person and has done and still does some pretty bad stuff he still isn't as much of a heartless monster as this Fandom makes him out to be. The way you talk about him makes him seem.....human ironically enough
It’s been ages since I’ve watched BSD but from what I recall (my feelings at the time), he might’ve been the most “human” character of them all. Which might’ve been the point.
The way he treated akutagawa was still unfortunate though. But multi-layered, as the human experience tends to be.
I haven’t kept up with BSD but I hope Akutagawa has fared well!
