Hey Kent! I have two questions about twdg if you don’t mind answering them the first one is this may sound stupid but since the game is in the comic universe does this mean the characters like Glenn and Hershel are dead and people like Michonne and Jesus are still alive? My second question is was there any comic characters that were going to be in the game but scrapped during development?

The TWDG titles are all canon to the comics. If it happened in one it happened in the other.

There were no plans as far as I know to put another comic cameo character in TFS. Lilly got the headlining returning character role, any more would have pulled focus from Clem’s story.

There’s concept art in the definitive series gallery for S1 that includes Rick, Shane and Abraham, so it’s possible they were considered for cameos, but as I wasn’t a creative back then I am not certain. They could have also just been art style tests (this is what X character would look like in our game) as part of the original pitch.

Clem throughout the years

S1 clem: sweet babie,,,honestly really iconic I love her so much. Has like 0.1% of a social filter. Licks random objects because she can (and probably got sick bc of that at some point) Likes to eat, eat, eat apples and bananas.

S2 clem: *feral clem noises* Sassy and feral, truly the alpha clem. She also hisses at ppl. Has a list of all the stupid shit luke and nick say. Has quite a lot of innocence left and it balances out her feral cat instincts. “How do babies work anyway?” . “*pokes AJ* him small”

S3 clem: teen angst, emo phase,,,, Is honestly really dumb but yknow. Just clem tingz. Unstable bc her son yeeted to somewhere and she don’t know where. “Why my girl pp bleed. Javi, explain” Her and gabe probably made a bunch of cringey, edgy poems and shit.

S4 clem: s2 clem would rip her to shreds ngl bc 11 year olds are scary. Big mama bear. Nobody hurts her family and lives. “Don’t talk to me, my son, or my girlfriend, or my boyfriend every again.” Teaches aj the art of Salt Lick™ “Where my leg go” Ate dirt once to show AJ that there are some things u can’t eat. Likes to casually bring up her trauma just to see what ppls reactions would be (she honestly finds it funny) Hasn’t combed her hair in almost 8 years and it shows

Hi kent! Just curious, are u also a fan of mcu? Can i ask who is your favorite avenger? And might as well ask who is the favorite avenger of each kid at Erickson +James? (Like if they lived in the non-apocalyptic world)

For me it’s gotta be Thor. Mostly just because Ragnarok is my favorite MCU film. 

I highly encourage the fans to do the kid/avenger pairing.

Violet- Captain Marvel. Hot girl… Could kick your ass… Yes…

Louis- He may love Iron man, but his favorite is spiderman. Peter’s lackluster joyful way of living reminds Louis of himself.

Aj- The Hulk. He loves to crush things, as do most 5 year olds.

James- Black Panther. He likes the suit, because it reminds him of how he uses his mask to blend in with the walkers

Aasim- Iron man. Smart, check. sarcastic, check. cool facial hair, check.

Ruby- Black Widow. She likes the badass solo female Avenger, and wishes there were more female heros like her

Willy- Also Hulk. See same reason for Aj, but switch “5” to “12”.

Omar- Groot. He’s the only hero Omar doesn’t find annoying.

Tenn- Ant-man. He thinks it’s awesome how he can talk to bugs, and he sometimes wishes he could just shrink and leave this world for his own.
