Is Linux Mint good for gaming/streaming/playing online games with friends (like Overwatch and Deadlock)

Does anyone have any tips regarding Linux

I've been looking at switching for quite a while. The only thing that's held me back is the fact that I stream regularly (with OBS) edit videos (on Vegas Pro) and play online games with friends (like Overwatch and Deadlock etc) I also don't really have the patience to spend hours trying to fix any PC issues. Are there any distros that are good for just "working straight out of the box" or do most of them require some finesse (and I'd be better off staying on windows) I have a NVIDIA graphics card too and I've heard that's not as good as AMD for Linux
