And let's just say as a hypothetical that Wednesday in season 1 is 15 turning 16, and Tyler is 18. They are covered by Romeo and Juliet laws in the state of Vermont. Wednesday would also be the age of consent by the time she actually goes on dates and kisses Tyler while he is still 18.

So what I'm trying to say is at the very worst, people might see the age gap as weird, but Romeo and Juliet laws were made for this exact scenario, and it is fine.
