@vira65
I know it has been more than 6 years! but... itâs YoungSang!!!
Missing Buamdong! (at Seoul, South Korea)
@vira65â Iâm gonna take a page out of @rustedsails book, and answer my version of your question this way, because Iâm not sure how else to do it. And also, itâs a really great question that Iâd love to hear otherâs peoples opinions on!

Hi there @vira65 â Iâm sorry for replying like this and I hope you donât mind, but it seems in the time I was off Tumblr they did not improve certain features to do replies a little more seamlessly via mobile (or maybe I am too ancient for Tumblr technology anymore.)
I always liked to think that Young Do, in spite of being perfectly capable of jealousy, was the kind of guy who wouldnât restrict Eun Sang. Which is why I was a lot more keen on this ship (setting aside the fact he was a bully and asshole for a minute â thatâs just an entirely different topic) because if anything, YD admired her and wanted her to spread her wings. I felt like he wanted to go on a life adventure WITH her and not take her on a ride through life having the exclusive rights to the steering wheel like Tan did.
So, if anything, his beef would be with Tan coming back to potentially stir shit up; he doesnât want him hurting her again, but heâd leave that call to her. Is she comfortable talking with him? Does she want to? Eun Sang might hear him out, but the girl we got at the start of the show didnât take shit from anyone, so if he tried to start down a âI want you backâ path, she would firmly say no and walk away and if he didnât respect that she could kick him in the balls.
Oh, how I mourn the lost potential.
YD might even hope that Tan got his shit together and wanted to talk with Eun Sang to apologize for being a horrible piece of shit in the past to her and every single person in that drama (he left no rock unturned.) I do believe that Young Do did care about Tan (and that wasnât very reciprocated, letâs be real) and he would have liked for him to not remain a moron for the rest of his life.
So hopefully Tanâs talk includes a sincere apology and a promise to not waltz into their lives without invite.
Because itâs the year 2018 and Karla decided to rewatch Heirs
IâM SORRY BUT ALSO NOT because holy shit, didnât expect for me to watch this shitty ass drama ever again but HERE WE ARE.
I guess I started this hell cycle once again so if you want to talk about it, Iâm here. Also I have cabin fever so if you send me a promptâŚÂ

Letâs talk about that look of vexpectancy he has whenever heâs around her. That is not a typo. It is the TRUTH.

Pictures â Eun-Sang
mending
Eun-Sang quietly knocked on Rachelâs bedroom door and waited for her to invite her in. Rachel smiled and tilted her head. âI see youâve come up for air. Hye-Rim keeps giggling whenever the plants in here burst into flower. She canât see that far but sheâs still aware of it.â
âIâm not ashamed,â Eun-Sang stuck her tongue out at her before she bit her lip and looked down at her cream pantsuit and red blouse. âIs what Iâm wearing okay? I saw that you stuck this in my closet andâŚI mean, itâs a bolder choice than Iâm used toâŚâ
âI thought about putting you in a skirt but you donât favor them unless you are getting extra fancy. You are a plant goddess. Most plants have pretty colors for their flowers. Red is your color. Youâre the embodiment of spring and summer, whereas I am a fall and winter. Thatâs why Bo-Naâs pink looked awful on me. You not only look lovely, but professional. Did you look through the packet Kang Ji-Hyuk gave you? Do you need help understanding the finer points?â
âYoung-Do walked through them with me. Iâm a little jealous of how hard President Lee worked to make sure you two prepared to take over your respective companies. You had internships and your time at the university level was spent learning business. I have none of that. I just wanted to cultivate a functional garden. I didnât even work on learning how to design it. My healingâŚitâs all instinctual. Healing is so rare, so itâs not like I can put out an advertisement for it.â

Silver Lining
chapter 21
âAbsolutely not. This is a fashion meeting. I am dressing you. You are not taking a single one of your pantsuits.â Rachel began taking things out of her suitcase and Eun-Sang knew she should give up now but she was cranky.
âRachelââ
âI have marked which ones to wear to what meeting.â She wrinkled her nose at Eun-Sangâs favorite pantsuit as she started pulling clothes out of the massive garment bag she brought with her. âYou are wearing heels. No argument. I promise, if you look like you know how to dress yourself, you will get this contract. I want you to wear mascara at the very least.â
âRachelââ
âIâve only included one cocktail dress and one gown. All your business meetings are in pants, President Cha. This is the fashion industry. Michael Park will be in tailored suits of unconventional colors. His hair will be done by a professional. If you would let me send my girl with you, you would be stunning, Eun-Sang. You have to be stunning.â

Silver Lining
chapter 20 (sexy things warning)
Young-Do knew that they were deliberately letting work take over their evenings in the wake of what happened. Heâd listened to Eun-Sang yell at her friend and felt a little bit of awe. He could never talk to any of his friends like that. He only had Myung-Soo now but he still wouldnât dare.
About a week later, when his day finished more or less on time, he went home and disliked the emptiness of their house without her. He sat down to dinner and tried to distract himself with the reports heâd been too tired to read before he left but it didnât work.
Finally, when the cook was clearing away the meal, he asked, âWill you box this up for me? I want to take it to Eun-Sang.â
âOf course, President Choi.â He didnât have to wait long before she had the meal packed up and him in a car within fifteen minutes. Young-Do was a bit relieved to find her headquarters mostly devoid of employees while he rode the glass elevator to her office. He found her alone, hunched over her desk, clearly trying to work through something that needed her focus.

Eun-Sang didnât want a nanny and Young-Do was too curious about his son to push the issue when she came home from the hospital. Eun-Sang wasnât able to breastfeed, so he got up with Jung-Woo in the middle of the night to feed and change him. It was a delight to spend even sleepy moments with the baby they struggled so long to have.
His wife didnât want a nanny but her mother visited three times the first week, Rachel slept in the guest room and was quick to cater to every need Eun-Sang and Jung-Woo had. Then there was Bo-Na. On the fourth day, she showed up with all three girls, carrying several boxes, which she set up in the bathroom.Â
âWhat is this?â He didnât question Eun-Sangâs friends presence anymore. Nor did he complain when Bo-Na put Jae-Hee in his arms to keep her from fighting with Sung-Hee about the towels they were laying out.
Her little boy must be at home with his father.
âJung-Woo needs a bath. Eun-Sang wanted me to show you. Sheâs bathed babies before so she knows what sheâs doing but youâre new.â She glanced around. âWhere is your son?â
âSleeping. Eun-Sang can show me this.â
Bo-Na wrinkled her nose at him and looked down at the ground. âThe girls wanted to see Jung-Woo.â
Young-Do looked down into three pairs of pleading gazes and laughed softly. âAlright. Go sit down on the couch and Iâll see if heâs ready for a bottle.â
He went into the bedroom while Bo-Na finished setting up the baby bath station and sent the girls downstairs. He found Eun-Sang sitting in bed, holding Jung-Woo, and singing softly to him.
âIs that Bo-Na?â
âJung-Woo needs a bath and you donât trust me to figure it out,â he teased. âIâm the president of a trillion won company, you know.â
She smiled and kissed him tenderly. âThe girls wanted to meet Jung-Woo. Theyâre a little worried, you know, that theyâre going to lose you because you have your own baby now. I told Bo-Na that was foolish and to bring them over so they could see youâre still here for them.â
Young-Do blinked and took Jung-Woo carefully into his arms. âHow do I reassure them? IâŚâ His eyes stung and he looked down at his son. When did this happen? When did he get a family that was more than justâŚhim?
âYou stay the same. You treat them the same. Introducing them to Jung-Woo is like introducing them to one of your cars. They have a little brother, too. Itâs the hardest for Eun-Hee because sheâs the oldest and spent the most time with you.â Eun-Sang laid back and closed her eyes. âIâll help you with the bath after they leave.â
Young-Do gently kissed her cheek and brought Jung-Woo down to meet his new big sisters.
The Twelve Kisses of Christmas Part 3
Seventh Kiss
âNothing happened.â Eun Sang protested for the twentieth time, legs curled up under her on the couch and feeling oddly defensive. This wasnât fair and she didnât enjoy it. By what right did Chan Young dare to criticize her life choices?

Flower Boy Next Door â Dok-Mi & Enrique
preparations
Dok-Mi stared at the binder sitting on their kitchen table and worried her lower lip between her teeth for several minutes. You have to make exactly one choice. I made us an appointment to try on wedding dresses when we get off work tonight. I picked out five I think you will like. You can still wear anything. Youâre not showing yet. If youâre curious, everything is in the binder.
She slowly sat down. She hadnât been joking when she told him that he had to plan their wedding but she was still surprised she knew absolutely nothing except the date and location. Enrique didnât even complain about it being a winter wedding.
Their announcements and invitations were elegant and lovely but she still had no idea what her wedding colors were or even if she had bridesmaids. True to his word, it was going to be a tiny weddingâjust friends and family. She worried about not inviting anyone from her work but he brushed it off. He wasnât inviting anyone from his work either.
Dok-Mi only gave him five names for her guest listâthe boys from her first apartment building and the manager and his wife. Enrique pouted adorably. âBut I wanted them for me! Fine, I will give you the best guests and keep my mother and cousin.â
She opened the binder and smiled immediately. It was neat, orderly, and a lot like his game design binders. There would be lovely flowers, her colors were pink and green, and he was getting a cherub ice sculpture (Because there has to be something tacky, Ahjumma).
He had notes for her throughout the binder, almost as if he always knew her curiosity would get the better of her. She even approved of his picks for the menu. She laughed when she noticed he included pictures of himself in his wedding suit. (You will want to jump me immediately and It is not bad luck to see the groom before his wedding day. I checked, Ahjumma.)
She got the final page without any pictures of wedding dresses and she tilted her head when she got to what was clearly his picks for the nursery. Dok-Mi let out a low sigh for that. She looked down at her stomach and was amazed it was still flat. âYou will have the best appa. Both of you.â
There was a quiet thud as Enrique dropped his briefcase on the floor. âBoth?â
Hi, Audrey! Regarding your game, can you please do a High School reunion fic starring Young Do and Eun Sang? Where thy haven't seen each other since high school. Feel free to include other Heirs characters. :)
[Hi, anon! Weâll keep it short and simple because otherwise I will be tempted to start another project I cannot finish.]
Young-do wasnât particularly interested in attending his ten-year reunion, but an excuse to dodge the pressâs attention by retreating for a weekend at a remote and exclusive mountain resort was precisely what he needed. If another reporter shoved a mic in his face and asked how he felt about his fatherâs upcoming release from prison, he was going to have to pay a hefty compensation fee once he was finished.
Neither Rachel nor Myung-soo had comeâboth of them were attending New York Fashion Weekâso Young-do spent the first day ignoring calls from his vice president by going on a hike and finding a quiet little clearing where he could hurl snowballs at tree trunks undisturbed. By the time he returned to the resort hours later, he was overheated and worn out. He caught an elevator up to his suite so he could take a shower and change into something more presentable for the nightâs formal dinner.
He wasnât prepared for the elevator doors to open for Cha Eun-sang.

âJust once.â
âNo.â
Eun Sang had been in the middle of doing her history homework when Young Do had yanked her out of Myung Sooâs studio and onto his motorcycle. He wanted to go on a date but at the moment she was beginning to feel more like she was his babysitter then his girlfriend.
âWhy not?â
âBecause I donât want to.â
âYa! I heard you call Myung Soo it last week!â
âHe gave me an offer I couldnât refuse.â
She felt a pain in her shin. He had kicked her!
âOi! Choi Young Do! Do you wanna die?â
âYes, my heart hurts and I canât think of a better way to die then by your hands.â
âOmo, youâre a child, Young Do.â
As if to prove her point he pouted.

1.
It wasnât always easy for her to go around Jeguk High as Choi Young Doâs girlfriend. The stares she got in the hallways from strangers and acquaintances alike would sometimes embarrass her enough to hang her head in shame. Like she had committed a sin of being where she had chosen to be.It bothered her.
âAnd you care about them because..?â
He hadnât even looked up from his bowl of ramyun when she had told him that her walk in the long corridors had started to look longer to her recently. She didnât answer his question and ceased talking about herself for the evening.
The next day she noticed a change in the stares. What used to be blunt and direct had become shy and silent now. The reason was a red note on her locker which was gathering quite some attention.
âIf I spend one more evening in silence with my Cha Eun Sang because your stares bothered her, youâd have to answer me. Directly.
- Choi Young Do.
She gaped at the note then at the students who hurried away, avoiding her eyes.
âYou gotta admit, heâs got style.â Myung Soo nodded his head in appreciation and she couldnât quite help the laugh in reply.
2.
They quite rarely held hands like most couples did. He mostly had his hands in his pockets though he walked very close to her whenever they were together. When she asked him the reason, he only shrugged and said that he didnât ever want to make her feel like she was trapped with him even if it meant holding her hand tightly. She came to him by her choice and he wanted her to stay by her choice.
âBesides, holding oneâs hand doesnât guarantee togetherness. In my world, it feels like a forceful obligation. I donât want to become your obligation but rather your choice by free will. And that I can do quite well by just being by your side and allowing you to sleep in peace anywhere you want.â
She didnât tell him just how much she loved him in that moment.
And he didnât tell her that she didnât have to say anything. He just knew.
3.
Once, they got into an argument over who washed dishes quicker. While she took a crazy pride in her experience as a part-time worker in a restaurant kitchen, he argued that being the heir of an international chain of hotel business basically made doing all kinds of hotel business his territory, dish washing included.
It was a very silly argument a couple could ever have. What was sillier was them having a competition to prove who was right. But what worked was that evening becoming a very fond memory for both of them
(Just to clear the curiosity - no one actually won. Their competition got intercepted by Myung Soo who found the situation shocking enough to give him a fake heart attack.)
4.
Being as rich as he was, it wasnât hard for him to take her to any place in the country. Initially, they did try going to expensive restaurants to eat the cuisine which had the upper class of the society raving. After three such tries, they were back to convenience stores and instant ramyuns. Occasionally when either felt adventurous, they would order in food from the known and not widely known restaurant outlets and spend the evening talking about everything and nothing.
Those evenings were always the best.
5.
He never stopped her from doing her part-time jobs. Though he would sometimes groan when sheâd announce that she was late for work and cut their time together short. She would only roll her eyes at him and not pay attention to his childish tantrums.
This resulted in him turning up at her work place half an hour after her arrival. While he would sit around, waiting for her to finish her work, sheâd secretly smirk to herself seeing her plan of spending time together in their own twisted way being successful.
And for someone as smart as him, he never quite suspected her sneaky plans.
6.
When she told him about her preference of watching thriller/horror movies, he planned a movie night together where she would get time to catch up all the new parts of her favorite movie series she had missed due to her increasingly hectic life and he would get to know, first hand, just what went in the mind of hers.
She set up the mood by turning off the lights and snuggling herself in a blanket before starting the movie. And just when the movie was starting to get scary and she was showing all the signs of being a terrified audience, he couldnât take it anymore and started commenting on the various illogical moments on screen. First, she became annoyed at him for disturbing her mood.
5 minutes later, she was commenting with him. All the fear lay forgotten, they spent the time watching every movie and making fun of it.
Cha Eun Sang never did see the movies in the same scary light again.
7.
Choi Young Do wasnât conventionally good looking. He wasnât plain but he wasnât the quintessential handsome male either. But still, he had a certain charisma which many of the males in his social circle and age group lacked. Maybe it was the way he carried himself or the way he was always dressed like a runway model. Or how he was so perfectly confident with himself that he just knew all eyes would be on him when he would walk in through the doors. Cha Eun Sang couldnât quite put her finger on what trait of his put him a level above others.
All she knew was, the more you saw him, the more you knew. The more you knew, the more he surprised you. The more he surprised you, the more you got pulled in. And before you knew it, youâd be trapped with no way out.
She had gotten in, way too in, to even think about escaping. With her it was like, being with him made her breathe. And if this was abnormal or unusual or just wrong, she no longer cared.
8.
When he had become intrigued by her, she was just a girl who stood out amidst the crowd because of her stubborn resolve to never bend and her strangely arousing habit of looking right in the face of troubles. For a long time he thought it was because she was so different from all the other girls he had seen in his life that he had fallen for her. He had secretly hoped that she would never change.
But when they got together, she did change. She smiled more often, cracked jokes and didnât shy away from answering insults which someone or the other hurled her way. Her confidence in herself increased and she hardly cried now. She loosened herself which made her seem more like a high-school going teenager girl rather than someone who fought battles everyday.
And if her former persona had captured all his attention and captivated all his senses, the latter made him fall so hard he wished heâd never get up again. She made him vulnerable and he didnât care.
Guess thatâs what love does to someone.
9.
He was so taller than her that she had to literally look up to see him. And there were times where he would deliberately not make it easy for her by standing on his toes just to tease her. Those times were rare but they were there, when heâd act like a typical boy when no one was around.
She liked those times because the first time he did it, she found her favorite spot to kiss. Right below his lower lip, which he had a habit of biting in every kind of situation. When heâd be towering above her, she would stand as tall as she could and peck him right there on that spot. And the satisfied smile on his face would tell her that he was teasing her just for that little kiss.
In return, he would bend down and kiss the tip of her nose. But more often than not he would bite it a little which would always make her yelp and rub her nose like a child. He found it too adorable for words.
Yeah, these moments were cheesy and so unlike them but they made them happy. What else did matter?
10.
Truthfully speaking, they were far from perfect. Not every day was a field of roses for them. They had their share of arguments and fights and days which would pass by without them speaking to each other. They didnât fully understand each other and the surprises of discovering something new either delighted them or didnât go too well.
But, they were going strong. Through laughter and silence, tears and joy, stolen moments and lonely nights; they didnât stop. Each day was like a new journey for them with the destination yet unknown. By hiccups and tumbling and holding on, they found their common ground. They were no dream or fantasy where the words, 'Happily Ever Afterâ flashed as soon as they got together. They were a reality with all its harshness and its hope which made it beautiful and worth fighting for. Oh, they had still a long way to go before reaching a perfect end and they were taking their sweet time for it.
After all, they were just 18.
