I really like @defero2k6 Western Au and needed to take a break from my comic stuff, so I gave Mikey a horse! I don’t know if horses were previously established, but I really just like Mikey having a Palomino Missouri Fox Trotter.

hurt/comfort my beloved. Here's another short and sweet thing. I always love when ppl let Mikey be the caretaker in this sort of stuff.

Like fans talk abt him being 'the family therapist' but it feels a lot of the time like an abstract concept that doesn't get put into action. There's a lot of him being burdened by it but I also like seeing the other side, you know like, him taking joy in supporting others.

I like to think Mikey destroys himself for love in every universe, good or bad. It doesn't always kill him but in Rise canon it does once and then almost a second time. I rly rly like when that is explored in fic, like this one.

This is from Leo's POV, beautifully written, and full of little details I always adooore in bad future fics. You can do so much worldbuilding with so little and that's cool !!
