He’s grown old which in itself is a miracle. There have been times when his family tree looks more like a graveyard of young soldiers. But he had somehow made it to his seventies. He hoped it was a sign of things to come, his only son Georges was already in his fifties as practical and wise as his dearly departed mother. It was perhaps the smallest of his many revolutions but sometimes when he looked at his little family it somehow felt as the most important.

He removed his hat and wiped the sweat from his brow from spending too many hours in the garden when he saw a stranger on the road ahead leading to la Grange. He waved him down. “I feel as if I know you. Your father perhaps … Tell me what is your name?”

He had been rebellious and most fair once before being cast down and humbled. This hell was at least gentle but no less cruel because of that.

Eyebrow lifted at the question. So far, Lucifer was content to watch and wait. To observe and not make any true contact. That was the way things worked, didn't it? He watched and waited - he could be blamed, sure. Though, he gave options and not... guarantees or forced choices.

"Many people know him. Different cultures and different names," he says. "All resorting back to the dawn of time. Not a pantheon, but a singular force of change."

One that Lucifer would love to bring down to size once again, but even he knew it was far better to bide his time. To resist doing anything drastic until such a time was right and proper.

"You," he says, "Are most likely one of the many who have decided to blame a singular entity for your problems." A simple statement. Nothing more. "Then again," there was a pause, "your kind never do learn very well." Not that he minded, but it was still an observation.

"Lucifer," it was an off handed comment as arms settled behind his back. "I think you can figure out the rest."

Actually, I want you all to know that I typed up two scripts for this final, I just have to decide what one I will use and then transfer it to German. Both are set in the Fallout New Vegas universe and I can't believe he's letting me do this. Apparently, he really liked the letter I wrote about life on the Strip.

For her part, she's dressed to the nines for him, meaning she wears armor and has the lasso glowing at her hip. She even brought the sword and shield, because who knows when a warrior princess might require them?

Hands formed into tight fists - not necessarily at the question, but at the comment that followed suit. It was one thing to mock a mortal - another to do the same thing towards Lucifer. The reason of why she was here happened to be beyond him.

Truth be told, he didn't even care - leave the business of heroes to those who had better intentions. Brush them off as if they were nothing and to him they were. It would benefit no one if he got involved in their affairs.

"Get to the point." It was easier than letting his anger and frustration boil over. Even so, Lucifer did have some limits - even if he wasn't sure how far one would test them.

I'm back to playing Skyrim and I have a love / hate relationship with it. I don't like it as much as oblivion, but I do love that it has quests that even now in 2023 I am still finding, unlike Oblivion, that I know where every quest and item is by memory.

She’d never met him before and honestly had been quite sure he was just a figment of human imagination. But, by that token, so was she. And yet, here they both were having a wee bit of a conversation. The Fae Queen opted to continue with the diplomacy her father had schooled her in and the natural charm that came from her mother’s lineage. Inclining her head, she gives him a small smile before clasping her hands in front of herself. “Truthfully, I hope that this initial meeting fares quite well. Honestly? I’m placing a bit of faith that you’ll forgive me for being a wee bit awestruck...That being said, it is lovely to finally make your acquaintance--even if it’s brief.”

Her right hand then came out for his; gaze flickering gold briefly before settling back to that chocolate brown shade as well as keeping her glamour tightly in place. “Llewelyn Emrys, though I prefer to go by Ellyn. How shall I address you?” Let it not be said that the Fae Queen didn’t have the faintest inkling of manners. Though she also saw no need to be overly formal unless he wished it so.

There were many stories that seemed to bleed through not just time, but cultures as well. Lucifer's own story happened to be one of them - told through many way, but in the end, he was blamed for everything. Not for his own actions, but for everyone's mistakes. Perhaps that was what gave him is own snide attitude or perhaps it was just his disinterest in what directly had no effect on him.

"I have so many names, it's difficult to keep track." A simple truth, though it was doubtful that was truly the answer she wanted. "I believe at one point, I was known as a creator, another a God killer," he says. "I've taken down pantheons and raged wars that lasted eons."

"Lucifer," he says, moving to take her hand into his own for a firm shake. "That seems the one I go by these days." Though, that didn't stop new names from being crafted for him or even stories being told about his interfering with affairs of mortals. Something that he rarely did in the first place, but let them talk... he could play into their games to create one of his own.
