I had to go through it. It is not even close to “the most stressful test.” But I guess a lot of people are uncomfortable in the water. Worst that happens here: you get stuck, swallow some water, safety officers pull you out. You live. Fast-roping off a 70-foot tower: way more stressful. Worse case scenario: your hands burn and you let go of the rope > you fall to your death > splat.
