When I was a kid I would write in a diary and then cut the pages out and throw them away so no one could ever see them. From a young age I was already self editing. Judging before anything was even put to paper. Always inhibited and self hating. But I think it was really Fear™️ wearing hate as a mask. Safer to blame yourself instead of acknowledging how scared you are to really try. Really try, and still miss the mark. . So move the mark right? I have, and I do. Constantly. I’ve had autoimmune issues for the past decade, but before I got really sick and was diagnosed with RA, there was more room for dreaming. More room for creating. I always had this certainty that I would be ok that buoyed me and kept me afloat through the darkest times. . Living in this body with all of its limitations and autoimmune diseases has taught me compassion for myself that I never dreamed of achieving. The Fear™️ is still there in a big way, but it’s more of a foggy mist and less of a tight corset if that makes sense. . I’ve never been one for New Year’s resolutions, but for 2023 I plan on continuing to walk through that foggy mist with arms out and eyes wide. . So Happy New Year! May you walk in sunshine and sleep to dream big glorious dreams!! Thank you to all my clients, you’ve been so understanding and patient with me these past few years. Although the meaning changes for each individual wearer, Lady Heads are often associated with beauty, desire, good luck, independence and fertility. It’s such a great joy to see someone that you’ve chosen as your family (looking at you @sophiecestlavie😘), marry their perfect match. @stephanietamez and I were thrilled and honored to witness Ben and Sophie’s union and share in their happiness at the reception! If you know Sophie at all, you know that everything was beautifully presented and executed.
