viridiangymleader has found the twins.

The two twins sat on a bench on the nearby park. Today was a day off, and there really wasn’t much to do. Everyone in their group of friends was busy either doing school work, or something with their families. The silence between them was broken when Yuuki spoke. 

“Ne, Yuuta….let’s go to the beach.” he said and nodded. But it was only the beginning of spring, it wasn’t nearly as warm enough to go.

“Too cold.” The elder responded as he didn’t pick his head up from looking down at his knees.

Green had finally finished checking his students’ paper. He stretched and yawned as he looked outside his apartment. His apartment overlooked a nearby park, and there he saw the twins of one of his classes.

Well, it won’t hurt to say hello.

“Oi.” He greeted the two from behind the bench.

Both of them looked up and squinted at the stranger, or rather it was probably someone they knew, the both of them didn’t really want to say anything though. In terms of them forgetting that was. So they just stared the other down, trying to figure out who it was.

Silence engulfed Green's surroundings. He just stared back at the two students, as they both stared back.

"Correct me if I'm wrong, but you two don't remember me." He said as he sighed then continued, "Am I right?"

Kotone was surprised that someone knew her name. She look up at green and immediately recognized his face. “Ah! You’re Viridian City’s gym leader!”

“Green, I presume? Anyway, it’s an honor to meet you sir.” Kotone felt her face turning a little bit pink. Being in front of the eighth and final gym leader of Johto sure was intimidating.

“No need to be formal,” he said with a frown. “Besides, here in Arcadios, we’re simply equal. Both our pokemon here can’t evolve, or even level up.”

“Eeh? Really?” Kotone pouted. This can’t be possibly happening. 

“What else is there to know about this ‘Arcadios’ place?”

Green chuckled at the girl's expression. Certainly, one would feel frustrated from that his/her pokemon's level dropped down, when he/she worked hard to achieve that certain level. Even he did.

"For one, you'll meet different types of people. And not all of them have pokemon like us." He said in reply.

Green stared at the girl for a minute. “You’re Kotone from Johto, I presume?”

“R-right.” He muttered as he allowed Blue to lead the way to the ice-cream store. He planned to simply wait for the girl to eat her ice cream in peace, but Blue ordered for him.

“I don’t like sweets.” He said in a venomous tone as he stared at the chocolate sundae before him.

She heard his words and quickly turned her head to look at him. “WHAT?!” She said really loudly again, first person who didnt like sweet. She put her hands on her hips and glaring at him.

“You have to.” Her stubborn act comes out.

Seeing how this small conversation could turn to a big mishap, he didn’t speak but just begrudgingly took a bite of his ice cream. The sweet taste of chocolate exploded in his mouth, and his tongue suddenly felt numb. He swallowed it and felt his throat cold.

“What with this?” He whined in a whisper-like voice. Did he just eat mint?

He looked up from the sundae and saw Blue looking at him with a smug present on her face.

‘Well, crap.’ He thought to himself. He should have stayed quiet from the beginning.

Blue licked her own ice cream and handed the boy beside her the ice cream, she decided to tricked him again this time. 

“Here you are, Green.” She said happily.

She licked her own ice cream once again and she noticed Green’s glares towards her, she just grinned widely.

“Already notice it, huh?” She said and stuck her tongue at him.

Green sighed. Despite how he wanted to vent out his rising frustration at how he couldn't outsmart his friend, he didn't want Blue to feel uncomfortable.

"Duh." He said in response. "You done yet?"

She smiled widely and walking first while her hands on her back, she seems really exited about this. She loves ice cream after all, really loves ice cream. 

When she turned her head and saw Green there, she pouted because he just following her from behind. “C’mon, you slow—” When she gonna said something, she stepped on something slick…Maybe it’s a water or something like that. And the result, she almost fall. “Woah!” She yelled a little.

“Poke?” He finished her sentence as he caught her by her waist. “You’re really clumsy, Blue.”

Catching Blue seemed to be his new job now. From the first time they met, until now.

He helped her stand properly, his hands still supporting her.

Blue who being pulled by Green, just responded him with a grins. “Hehe, sorry sorry.” She said while laughed nervously then control her own balance.

She clings her own arms on his arms. “This is better, right~?” She said while grinned widely.

Green didn’t bother to hide the red lines appearing on his cheeks when he felt Blue’s arms hugging his.

“Whatever.” He said through gritted teeth.

Did Blue even notice his panic? He hoped not. He glanced at Blue and he subconsciously smiled.

Blue smiled widely and look straight, searching for an ice cream stand. Then after a few seconds, she found it. “There!” She said cheerfuly and turned her head to look at the boy beside her who taller than her.

She noticed he was starring at her and Blue’s face getting red in one second. “Uh..” She said while turned her head away to avoid his gaze. “Ice cream! Ice cream!” She said with a happy tone and tried to avoid her nervous.

Green was taken aback by the formality-no, maturity of the young boy. A boy of the lad’s age would have snapped at the sigh he just made, or perhaps would have pestered him of something unimportant. But then again, the young lad’s tone made him rethink of the possibility that the boy was just… a brat.

He smirked as he looked at the boy in the eye. “Quite full of yourself, aren’t you, Brat? Why would I ask for help? It was you who was following me.”

A disappointed sigh escaped the lord’s lips as he shook his head slowly, shoulders slightly raised. To think Ciel had expected anything different to come out of the elder’s mouth was foolish, really. As far as everyone in this world was concerned, he was nothing more than a brat—”What an utter let down.” Ciel said under his breath, no louder than a whisper.

“We just happened to be walking the same way; towards the Village of Wisdom. I have things I wanted to look into at the library, by no means was I following you.”

Green took a moment to breathe properly, then pointed at the hut in front of him and the boy. "Then may I know why you're planning to enter my place? The library is on the other side."

He didn't wait for the boy to react, and was about to enter his hut when his charmander, his fire-lizard pokemon, suddenly came out of its pokeball and jumped up to the young lord.

She crossed her arms and looked away, still pouted a little. “Hmph!” But when she saw his face, she really wanted to teasing him.

“What’s wrong, Greeny~?” She asked him with a teasing voice while resting her head on his right shoulder.

Green sighed for the nth time since he was with Blue. She didn’t want to be brought to the hospital, despite her being sick.

“What do you want to do?” He asked in a defeated tone. And quickly added, “Since I’m free,” before Blue could respond.

Blue smiled widely when she heard his voice who said he was free. “Free?! Really?!” She said while jumping around exitedly.

“Hmm..” She mumbled softly when began to thinking about it. “What about some ice cream?” She grinned at him.

Damn, he really wanted to rest, but Blue would probably just end up following him. He decided to invite her for a date--a small outing with a friend, to not end up feeling disturbed.

"Alright." He waited for the girl to start moving and followed her from behind; his hands kept inside the warmth of his pockets.
